Title: Wildflower Explosion
Post by: CapturedByGrace on November 19, 2009, 09:31:38 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm just getting back into the forum again after a long absence due to job hunting and moving!  Whew lol I'm all settled now, in a beautiful place that God has blessed me to call home!  God is Good!
This is an image I captured in July in Crested Butte (I now live about 30 minutes away from here!).  Every July, Crested Butte has a wildflower festival.  Meadows and mountainsides around here are literally carpeted with all different kinds of wildflowers.  It's awesome.  This image was taken north of Crested Butte.  I saw this huge meadow filled with aspen sunflowers and had to pull over and go walking through them.  Many of them were almost as tall as me.  It was so peaceful.

Beautiful flowers and certainly a wonderful area where you're now living.  Have you checked out our latest mini challenge "I See God"?  Check out what's been posted so far (CLICK HERE (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?topic=9163.0)) and then let us know where you see God.  Only a couple more days left to enter.
