thanks! Unfortunately I was only able to get out and photograph that one day. :-[
Perhaps another chance will arise.
Keep them coming I love looking at flowers and use some of them in passing to teach the girls the variety of creation.
I like the lighting in the second shot! You got a good capture!
I have not seen trillium since I was in high school. Brings back a lot of memories of boyhood tramps through the woods.
Thank you so much.
Nice. I only ever see the white trilliums when at the trailer in spring.
Sue we have more of the purple variety up here in the north than the white. They are so beautiful.
I came back for another look Smokey and love that trillium. I missed them this year.
I almost did too. I was only out in the woods once this year. :-[
I did add another photo from that day that I had left out.

It's a May Apple blossom
Really nice.
Oh the symetry, the gentle shades of color! But do the bees, etc. care? Are they programmed to attract to those things? Have they learned to adapt over millions of years? Impossible. Glorious design is the only reasonable explanation, and it must ever reveal a glorious Designer, a Master Artist, the Lord of art and beauty. Praise God!
And then the infinite variety! Can that be explained? Only on the basis of our wonderful God!
Thanks for these captures. Smokey.
Amen, Al!
I second that AMEN.
There is no way that could have happened by chance!
