Lets try a new game.  I found this on another Christian site and they're having fun with it.

This time, give us characters in the bible in alphebetical order.  Must name the individual, then a short synopsis about them and where they are located in the bible.

Highlight your first letter by putting [ b] and [ /b] (without the space) around the first letter..

First ones a given....

Adam.  First man God created.  Disobeyed God and caused the fall of man into sin.  Found in Genisis.

Woman who tempted David    2 Sam.

C ain.  First son born to Adam and Eve.  Also the first murderer.  He brought an offering to God from the produce of his farm while his brother, Abel, brought an offering from the firstborn of his herd.  God was not pleased with Cain's offering and Cain became angry and killed his brother.  Genesis 4

He had two sons, who bore symbolic names.

Isaiah probably lived to its close, and possibly into the reign of Manasseh, but the time and manner of his death are not specified in Scripture or recorded history.

The weeping prophet.

Pat Carmen is one of the most wonderful Christian Contempory singers, that even Jack enjoyed listening to!

Jack?  I don't think so!  LOL At least not that I remember.  I have all his tapes and CDs that he listened to.

Kenaz

In the Old Testament, Kenaz was a son of Eliphaz and a grandson of Esau. He was an Edomite leader (Genesis 36:11, 15, 42).

Brother of Mary and Martha, became sick and died...Jesus raised him from the dead.

Seems we are stumped on "V"

V ashti ... Queen, wife of Ahasuerus.  She was deposed because she displeased the king. The king sent out for "replacements" and this is how Esther became the salvation of her people ... Esther.

I have a Bible with an index of Bible names, for the life of me a cannot find it.  I always use a different Bible, it has no name index.
