Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

A rookie police officer was assigned to ride in a cruiser with an experienced partner. A call came over the car's radio telling them to disperse some people who were loitering.

The officers drove to the street and observed a small crowd standing on a corner. The rookie rolled down his window and said, "Let's get off the corner."

No one moved, so he barked again, "Let's get off the corner!"

Intimidated, the group of people began to leave, casting puzzled glances in his direction.

Proud of his first official act, the young policeman turned to his partner and asked, "Well, how did I do?"

"Pretty good," replied the veteran, "especially since this was a bus stop."
I survived open heart surgery.... :)

Here's a groaner that I always get a chuckle with.

There was a police officer standing near a street corner extremely bow-legged. A citizen finally came up and asked him why he was standing there so bow-legged. The officer looked down and said:

Oh MY! - Someone has stolen my motorcycle!

OkTom,

What a funny sence of humor.  It is good to see Policemen with a great sence of humor.

For that side of a Policeman isn't seen, when they hand ya a ticket for something & ya know it's just a part of their job.

I must say, I've been very lucky not to receive very many tickets though.  I'm 42 & I've only received just 1 ticket.

My husband stands like that & just to be funny I tell him to spread them, it's time to be frisked.

OK Tom

K4J,

I was just thinking about something that really happened some years ago. A man advertised a sure way to beat police radar every time. It cost $10, was completely legal, and I'm sure that the man made a ton of money. You sent in your money and got back one page in the mail with the TOP SECRET ANSWER!

DON'T SPEED!

Oh, goodness!  That's a good one, Tom.

OKAY = Tom,

LOL, That is a very expensive lesson.  Ya see, my husband being very frugal........So, any money out of the pocket without warrent , is not good.  He's so frugal, he practically wear's holes in his t-shirt's until they fall off of his back.  LOL

I sometimes have to eliminate some of his stuff, or they'd never be eliminated.  One time he asked me where his favorite shirt was, well.......It wasn't my favorite.......In fact it was my least favorite & I never wanted to see it on him again, so in the trash it went........Then he asked me what happened to that shirt.......I told him that you threw it in the trash, sometime ago never to be found.  Ya see, I threw it in the trash & he took the trash & threw it in the dumpster.  LOL  For note sake, I did this shortly after we got married & it rarely happen's, although it keeps his toes up.

He's very slow to throw things in the dumpster, as he never know's if I'm getting rid of some of his excess junk.

Seeing as we hope to move to New Hampshire some day hopefully soon, he has agreed to get rid of some of his junk.  Well.......If he's not willing, I know of a different way to fix that & a yard sale while he's @ work.  Cause, I told him the least amount of stuff that we can move the better.  I guess the older ya get, the less ya want to haul.

My mom taught me when I was young to pick up after myself:  Cause if I didn't, I'd never see it again.  She said it would go in the garbage if left unattended, on the floor.  You can tell where I get some of my idea's from.  =>  If there's any parents out there, this is a good one.  I never wanted to test my mother on that one!!

K4J

P.S.  I've learned to be frugal too, although not as frugal as my husband!!

Matt

A few years back, I got pulled over and my twin brother was riding shotgun.  I have to tell you that my family has to makes a jokes out of the stupidest stuff,  We are never real serious.  When I got pulled over my brother leaned over and asked the cop " Hey you arn't going to check the trunk are you?"  I am so glad the cop had a sense of humur.  I was not hiding anything in my trunk, it was in the glove compartment.  Kidding!!!
Nothing to hide at that time.   That was after I met Jesus.

Kreative4Jesus,

I was reading your post with a chuckle. Do you actually think that you will be able to train your husband to pick up after himself and keep his junk thinned out?   ;D  My wife has been trying that for over 30 years on me, but she hasn't given up. I think that she has too much work invested in the project to stop trying.

Just remember, "One man's junk might be another man's treasure."   ;D  I'm laughing because I'm thinking about some of the junk I've saved over the years.

Hello Matt,

Most police officers enjoy some good-natured humor. You wouldn't believe how badly they are treated by many people. Many people forget they are just doing the job they were hired and sworn to do, enforce the law.

I'll tell you a secret - the best way to get out of a ticket. Just be nice, courteous, and treat the officer the same way that you would like to be treated. Many of the more minor offenses, like traffic, can involve considerable discretion on he part of the officer. Most jurisdictions don't require the officer to write a ticket except on the more major violation, so being nice is the best way to get a warning and sent on your way. Some folks don't understand this secret and talk themselves into a ticket pretty frequently.

Tom

OK Tom,

What ya said to Matt, I've been one to practice that.  However it is nice to know those things.

Maybe you should let me influence your wife a bit, get her in on it.  LOL  Idea's will be clicking in her head in kreative way's that she never thought of before.  Then Tom ya will have to be on your toes, just don't dance like a ballerina.

Then we might have ta call ya T- na!!  =Tip Toe Through The Tulip's.  LOL

Just being corny, I'm good @ it.

OK Tom

Kreative4Jesus,

;D   ;D  Please don't give my wife any more ideas about correcting my behavior. Now, she just sends me to my room, but that's where I wanted to be anyway.   ;D
