Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

7 (more) Ways to Add Creativity to your Photography
  Compositional, Lighting and Posing Techniques

1. Dark to Light:  Seek the shadowed side.  Shoot from dark to light.  This will add dimensionality and depth to your images.

2. Phase 1, 2 and 3 photographs:
      *  Phase 1 - Subject(s) interacts with the camera (you the photographer!)
      *  Phase 2 - Subject(s) interact with some 'thing', some object.
      *  Phase 3 - Subject(s) interact with each other.

3.  Finding Natural Framing Devices:
      * Explore the power of using arches, doorways, branches, objects, etc to 'frame your image' to add depth and draw attention to your subjects.

4.    Walking:  A fun, natural and simple way to photograph children, families and groups that everyone will love!

5.  Hats and Hoods:  Hats, hoods and scarves can serve as a pleasing compositional device to your subjects.  Most everyone looks good in a hat.

6.  Angularity:  Look for lines, angles and curves to include in your images.

7.  Fun:  Put the fun back into photography.  Photograph that which you love and enjoy.  When you are having fun, creativity flows.

Bonus Tips:
       *  Expression, expression, expression.  Be prepared for spontaneity.
       * How to photograph a stranger  (without offending)  Ask!
       *  Patience--Find, set up and wait.
       * Give and Share with others.  Share what you have learned with others

"Your inherent style is born in you, do nothing to change it, just find it!  If you go back and find your first roll of serious film, you'll find your style...it is there already.  Set up the environment to let it happen and you'll get the images you want."  Fred Heingarden
