Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Marilyn ~ Lovely quilt.  Looks like one my Mother would have made.  Love the colors but then red is my favorite color.

Janet ~ If my Grandfather would have lived two more weeks, he and Grandma would have been married 70 years.  We figured Grandma would follow him in a few months since they had been together so many years.  But Grandma surprised all of us by living another 10 years and passed away at age 101!  So encourage your friend to stay busy and eat right and she will be just fine.

Larry ~ It certainly sounds like you, Pat and your friends had a nice drive seeing things around Georgia.  Yes, you live in a very historical state.  My friend, Kitty, needs your computer expertise.  She is DSL and has a router...she can't get internet on the desktop.  Also she has never set the desktop and laptop up so she can send files from one pc to the other!  I don't know what to tell her because I have never been wireless or networked.

Jane ~ You do what I try to do...a little each day instead of all at once...most of the time.  I will be glad when the outside requires less work.  I noticed this morning that I need to replace a light bulb at my backdoor.  Wonder how long that will take me... :-\

Al ~ You are so right....it takes all day to do what I used to do in minutes.  And somethings I don't try to do at all!

Carol ~ Working with your church in Texas sounds like work and fun.  I am sure lots of the elderly would appreciate anyone helping them.

Nita ~ You did a great deed...burying someones pet.  My church is 25 miles away and there were so many dead animals along the road...squirrels, raccoons, a cat and a dog.  Sad, isn't it?

JudyB ~ All I have to say is....Glad it is you instead of me!...dealing with teenagers and their activities.  But I also know that if the deed fell on me, I would do it in a nano-second!  God praises your for it!

Ed ~ I hope you had a Happy Birthday and hope you don't think of it as another year of pain.  Think of it as another year of living for God...with pain or painless!

My furnace man found a few things that needs replaced...two burners, a relay and a water pump.  I have hot water baseboard heat heated by propane gas.  So he hopes to get the parts tomorrow and return soon.  I hope so too since I can't use my furnace.  Thank God, I have my electric fireplace.  It is a little nippy inside and a lot nippy outside...38°F.  I just need to dress warmer!

And does anyone have any suggestions or reasons why I can't sleep before rising for church on Sunday mornings???  I got up early yesterday morning...early for me...and took no naps.  I read until I was sleepy last night.  I turned off the light around 11pm and was still tossing and turning at 1am.  I finally went to sleep.  I had no caffeine.  I took an aspirin before going to bed.  I turned on the ceiling fan...the humming noise and chewed a TUMS to prevent acid reflux.  I thought of being in Hawaii...that usually calms me and lets me go to sleep.  Any suggestions?

Etta Sue...I think I see the problem.    Did you think of Hawaii in the summer or in winter time?

Hi Nita ... Is there much difference?   8)   ;D
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Etta Sue,

I'm wondering if God isn't calling on you to pray for someone.  Only you and God will know who (whom?) or what  to pray for as you work this out with God and your prayer list.
