WELCOME, INGRID!!  And I'm so sorry about the thieves coming into your house!  That is indeed scary, but so glad you had a dog to scare them away.

No doctor appointments today----HURRAY!!!!  Plenty of other things to do, for sure.

The housekeeper was here for two hours yesterday, and all she got done was cleaning mirrors and three glass doors.  But at least that part is clean.
The housekeeper is only allowed two hours every two weeks per household.  It is a big help, though.

Larry, so glad your step grandson is wanting to help you and Pat.  And it will give you time to get to know him better, too.  He sounds like such a nice kid.  (Our kids and grandkids will always be "kids" to us!)

Pat, it's good to have you back!

Hi everyone and a special welcome to Ingrid.

Ingrid, sure sorry to hear of your robbery and that is very scary.  We had a robbery a number of years ago in the early evening while we had gone out to eat.  I understand the feelings that occur when you realize someone has been in your house and being there would make it even worse.  The morning following the robbery I noticed a piece of folded paper on the floor and when I opened it saw it was a citation one of the robberrs had received the day of the robbery.  I called the police and when the officer came to pick up the paper he told me they couldn't do anything with it since I might be setting up someone.  I think that is one of the dumbest things I have ever been told and I certainly wasn't impressed, to say the least.  In this area there are so many robberies that the police don't seem to think they are worth spending time on.  Dealing with the insurance company can certainly be a hassle.  We also lost a TV, our silverware that had been a wedding present from my wife's folks, my tools in the garage and a number of other things.

Just got back from attending Bible study with the Pastor at the church and then came home and took Pat to the chiropractor.  Tonight is choir practice.  Happy to say that Pat seems to be feeling somewhat better today but still in pain.

Pat, glad your eye appointment went so well and an improvement was noted.

Janet, I am a bit surprised you have been able to continue with your piano lessons while your hand and arm healed.  Can you play with the support on your hand?

Etta Sue, if you need to copy any more from books into your computer you might try the OCR software that you probably have with your printer software.  I have used mine a lot and it has worked very well.  It is not 100% but I would say it is close to 98% accurate.  I have scanned well over a thousand pages.  (Guess I need to get a life  :)  )

This has been an interrupted message as started it about 3 hours ago.  Had telephone calls and rested for awhile.  One of the calls was from our son who told us he had spent about 90 minutes on the phone with his daughter, to whom he hadn't spoken in over 10 years.  They have been using IM to talk for several weeks.  Sometimes it takes a lot of time for things to happen but we were certainly happy to hear about this event.  I praise God for his love and care for these two.  Perhaps some day he will actually get to met his grandchildren.  He said he spoke with two of them over the phone last night.  Relationships are sometimes very dysfunctional but God works miracles.

Janet, your housekeeper sounds very interesting.  How could she accomplish so little in two hours?  I know that is none of my business so please ignore this if you want.

Marilyn

I got a few things accomplished at my new employees house, some was a repeat of yesterday. The place is very cluttered, Next week we will start in the bedroom and there is still a big basket of clean clothes in the laundry room that needs to be put away, folded etc.  The place is only two rooms and a bath/laundry room.  I could have done more but I don't want to take advantage of him. He like to eat a the senior center and lunch is served at 11:30 So I can't get much done in two hours. Today I did the floors on my knees using very diluted mop and glow for this time. After I get the bedroom straightened up I hope to have a mop by that time.

Glad it turned out alright.

Amazing Love
(Click to hear music)

My Lord what love is this?
That paid so dearly
That I, the guilty one, may go free.

Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.

And so, they watched Him die
Despised and rejected
But oh, the blood He shed, flowed for me.

Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.

And now, this love of Christ
Will flow, like rivers
Come wash, your guilt away, And live again.

Chorus:
Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
That I, might live.
That I, might live.

Well I have read all the posts since I was here yesterday and I would like to comment  on each one but I'm either too lazy or too tired.  Anyway I enjoyed reading.  I was especially sorry about your experience, Ingred.  I'm sure you were fortunate that you didn't wake up and confront them while they were in the house.  So many people are injured or even killed by intruders.

Pat, the passage:

QuoteLamentations 3:22-24 (English Standard Version)

22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
   his mercies never come to an end;
23they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24  "The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
"therefore I will hope in him."

is o song from our contemporary song book.  We often sing it in our worship.

Good to see each one of you today.

Papa John

Eph 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.(NIV)

Thanks Papa John!  Love that passage.  And for me the words meant so much to me to read at that moment.

Papa John it is sure good to have you back!

Ingrid Welcome!  I am so sorry about your break in.  Our parents had their home broken into many years ago.  I remember how mother was so concerned that everything be locked up tight.  Really scary.

Tis late I am tired and heading to bed.

Night all

Good Morning Everyone!

It's a brisk day here in Guelph--a good one to do some gardening!

But instead, I'll be in the house doing some much needed housework!

What are your plans for the day?

Did you read some special verses for your morning devotion that meant a lot to you?  How about sharing them with us.

Last night's reading from Oswald Chambers was really meaningful for me.

Going Through Spiritual Confusion

"Jesus answered and said, 'You do not know what you ask' " (Matthew 20:22).

There are times in your spiritual life when there is confusion, and the way out of it is not simply to say that you should not be confused. It is not a matter of right and wrong, but a matter of God taking you through a way that you temporarily do not understand. And it is only by going through the spiritual confusion that you will come to the understanding of what God wants for you.

The Shrouding of His Friendship (see Luke 11:5–8). Jesus gave the illustration here of a man who appears not to care for his friend. He was saying, in effect, that is how the heavenly Father will appear to you at times. You will think that He is an unkind friend, but remember—He is not. The time will come when everything will be explained. There seems to be a cloud on the friendship of the heart, and often even love itself has to wait in pain and tears for the blessing of fuller fellowship and oneness. When God appears to be completely shrouded, will you hang on with confidence in Him?

The Shadow on His Fatherhood (see Luke 11:11–13). Jesus said that there are times when your Father will appear as if He were an unnatural father—as if He were callous and indifferent—but remember, He is not. "Everyone who asks receives ..." (Luke 11:10).  If all you see is a shadow on the face of the Father right now, hang on to the fact that He will ultimately give you clear understanding and will fully justify Himself in everything that He has allowed into your life.

The Strangeness of His Faithfulness (see Luke 18:1–8). "When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8). Will He find the kind of faith that counts on Him in spite of the confusion? Stand firm in faith, believing that what Jesus said is true, although in the meantime you do not understand what God is doing. He has bigger issues at stake than the particular things you are asking of Him right now.

Good Morning Everyone Wake up! Good to see you here bright and early Pat with wonderful scripture and commentary from Chambers. Our youth pastor taught on the power we have in the "Midst of the Battle" He is a wonderful teacher/preacher and always gives and altar call, every one was  at the altars.

I have to color my hair today my roots are out about 2 inches. I have a business meeting tomorrow night right after I get off work. Two of the main people in the Xocai company are flying in  to speak so it is imperative that I look professional. So the roots have to go.

Everything is so quiet here this morning.

Yesterday I caught Happy in the act of stealing a tomato right off the vine then going back for another. I stopped him and put a lawn chair in front of the plant so he can't get at the tomatoes.

Ah ha!  A tomato stealer in amongst us!  Bet Happy is an un-happy pooch without his tomatoes!

Yesterday was Red Hats and we went to a Nursery that has a restaurant/tea room.  We ate and then went to the green houses.  When we came back, Ivalou and I noticed that our cars looked like it had rained a muddy rain on them.  Even the windshield washers didn't touch it.  When I got home I took Windex to the windows and thought that got rid of it but when it dried good, it was still there.  Ivalou finally tried straight vinegar and that did it.  Must have been really hard water in that sprinkling system.  After 60 Chix today, I am going to vinegar my car!!

It was so nice to sleep with windows open last night.  It is only 67° right now and has even warmed up.  But it is warmer in the house.  I have all the windows open now and a slight breeze is blowing.  Very nice indeed.

Larry Hanna

Hi everyone.  We will leave shortly to attend a birthday luncheon for a number of our friends from the church that we often eat out with.  Today we are going to Longhorn Steakhouse and they always have good food.  We have stated going out for lunch rather than in the evening and I think everyone really likes it better.  The portions are better and so are the prices, which is important to us as we are all retired.  I made three birthday cards this morning as this is in celebration of three birthdays.  This evening I have a meeting to attend.  That is my exciting day.

Pat is going to the luncheon even though her back is still really bothering her but she needs to get out and see some other people for a little bit.  She has been confined for about 10 days or so and only been out twice to go to the chiropractor and to stop a the library.  I am glad she is getting out today.

Marilyn, hope you have a good meeting tonight.  It sounds like your new client definitely needs help.

Pat, thanks for the Chambers devotional reading.  This last year has taught me to pray for God's will for my life rather than telling God what he needs to do for me or others.  Then I have to be willing to wait and listen or see what God has in store for me.  I think that very often God's wisdom is beyond our comprehension and we have the feelings that are discussed in the devotional but then find out that things work out much better than we could ever expect.

Papa John, it is just nice to see you post and I also appreciate your scripture sharings.

Etta Sue, good luck with your car wash.  Glad you had a good time yesterday.  Did you buy any plants?

Guess I had better sign off for today.

Janet

Larry, I am rejoicing with you over the improvements in family relationships.  God has really worked in your family over this past year, hasn't He?

I think if I had been here, the housekeeper would have gotten more done, but I had to take Beth to the doctor.  Darrel told her to start on the glass cleaning, so that's all she did.  :-\

Papa John---we all love having your green posts and scriptures back!  God bless you!

Yes, Larry, I can both type and play the piano with my wrist support on.  I just don't want to forget what I have learned so far.  Yesterday Darrel and I went to a music store that is fairly new here in our little town, and spent about a hundred dollars on music!  Darrel got a huge "fake book" that has over 1200 songs, from the 20s up through the 60s and other timeless music.  I got a couple of small books of Christmas music.  The lady who owns that store is the wife of our chiropractor we like so much.

Pat, thanks for the additional devotionals and songs!

Etta Sue, after you get the spots all off your car, would you like to come over and work on mine?  Yesterday I had to go pick up something from a friend; her street is being paved and they had just soaked it with water.  No way to get out of driving down it, and I was disgusted, because I just had my car all nice and clean.  Now the underside has about two inches of sticky mud hanging on.  I drove very slowly so it wouldn't splash all up the sides.  >:(  Oh, well........don't sweat the small stuff, right?

I want to finish painting my shirt this afternoon that I worked on last Saturday.  I want to wear it when we go on that upcoming trip to Pennsylvania.  :)

Our great-grandbaby is due really soon now!  I hope we will get to go to Albuquerque to see and HOLD!! her soon after she arrives!

Marilyn, would you resend me your current email address?  You have changed it several times and I don't know which one is right.  I have a question for you.

It is cool here, and we are enjoying sleeping with windows open, too.  I love the brisk, cool Autumn weather.  But I hope it doesn't freeze too early.

Larry, It is so good to read this from you.  I learned, some time ago, from a friend that "the only right prayer" is to pray "Thy will be done."  Thanks for sharing.   :)

Today I am having a load of firewood delivered.  :D  The man says he always brings "a full cord and more" ... AND he will stack it for me too!  It's that time of year again and I have had trouble getting people to keep their promise of firewood, so it was good to find this man.  He is the former son-in-law of my neighbor across the street, and he keeps Bob in firewood year-round.   :)

Tomorrow I will be singing at the nursing home with my friends and then leaving around midnight for the drive to Spokane for a weekend (plus Monday) visit with my daughter and granddaughter.

Y'all take care and know that I have read all the posts and am praying for each of you.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

We will  still leave for London and then Sweden and good grief, it is next week.  The house exchange will not happen.  The husband of the couple is still waiting for his heart surgery and there is no way we would (as strangers) go and stay with them as he heals even though they asked us to still come to their house.  So, Don has found some of the least expensive lodging and it will be alright - did not want to go broke.  United actually changed our flights back without a scolding or penalty.  Spending time in the Cotswolds and not Wales as the price is much better and we are happy with either circumstance.  It will all be interesting.  Enough of that chatter.  Tomorrow, we will meet with the children for the weekend.

Etta Sue:  Thank you for praying for us.  We are doing fine and things are working out smoothly.  Don has spent literally hours at the computer redoing our reservations and so forth but we are fortunate that things are falling in place.

Prayer Warrior - The first time I ever heard about a PW was when we met with a gal that I was very close to in high school.  I really like her and she ran a Christian Book Store, actually owned it.  However, she only replies once at Christmas and doesn't call so I guess I have to give up being a close friend.

Janet:  Do you see how much Marilyn accomplishes in her two hours?  She beats everyone.

Pat:  You are not getting older - your eyes are getting better!

Ingrid:  Welcome!  It was just chilling to read about the nasty thieves who had the nerve to come right into your house.   Glad that you are alright.

Jane:  Very nice of you and your group to sing for the seniors.  They really appreciate the attention.  - and, someone is stacking your wood this year.  Yea.

Carol

Janet

Carol, hope you and Don have a marvelous trip.  It was nice of the couple to invite you to their house anyway.  Could you maybe just go by and meet them?  Might be a contact for a future time.

So sad to hear that little Madeline's parents are under suspicion.  Seeing her picture above keeps reminding me.  I so hope it isn't true!

Darrel and I put up 8 more pints of tomatoes this afternoon, so I didn't get to paint.  We only have a few tomato plants, so are happy to get enough tomatoes to can.  It didn't take long, anyway.

I was able to use the 2# weights for the whole PT session today, so my wrist is getting stronger.  Kinda hurts tonight, though, so glad I don't go back until Tuesday!

Boy, I sure am missing my Abby!  :-\ :)  Yes, I am spoiled, and I LOVE it!

Next Tuesday, the 18th, is to be a big day in our fair town.  There will be a groundbreaking for the new Care Home, a groundbreaking for the Ethanol plant, and that evening is the big Home Products Dinner.  Everything served is grown here in Grant County.  Usually about 2500 people are served, at $5 a plate, with all profits going to the Grant County Scholarship Fund.  This is when all the state, regional and county "bigwigs" come to town! ^-^

My sweet hubby took me to Alejandro's for supper.  That's our favorite of the six or so Mexican restaurants here in town.

Hi, friends,

I'm back in, but so extremely tired I won't say much. Yes, I'm thankful for God's protection.

Ingrid! What a difficult thing to know about - my memories will be very bad for me. I'm very thankful many of your things were found. Were they still usable?

Larry, I don't believe I ever heard such a strange thing to say - that policeman certainly wasn't thinking when he said that.

Well, must go - I've read all your posts, and wish I could respond to everyone.

Much love to all - Ruth Ann

Good evening everyone.  I was at a lady's home today who adjusts nerves in the body much like a chiropractor adjusts bones.  I came home under orders not to do anything for a week.  I have virtually no pain, just twinges in the back and still some tingling in the arm from the elbow to the fingers.  I have another appointment in a week.  She reallly zeroed in on the pain and worked it out.  I am very relaxed and sleepy.  So I am going to bed soon.

We are having autumn weather, the leaves are changing colour and I expect a frost any night now.  The garden is about picked bare, and I will soon be having it tilled.

We had some excitement here last night.  A neighbour asked if he could use our back fiels to shoot bear.  We had no problem with that so he spent the better part of 6 weeks bating a bear.  Last night he actually shot one, with a bow and arrow, and it was a clean shoot.  The bear didn't suffer at all.  We get the meat, and he gets the hide.  At 50 cents a pound, that is cheap meat.

While he was bating this bear he told us of some cranes that we had in the back field.  Large white birds with red heads and bills.  Sounds to me like Whooping Cranes.  I am hoping they are still around as I would like to get a picture of them.   We also have turkey vultures and herons.  This is quite unusual, to our knowledge, for our area.

Well I am out of here.  I am continuing to pray for all the spoken and unspoken needs.
Love JudyB

Larry Hanna

Hi everyone.  I am up a little earlier than usual.

I have a really busy day planned and have had to change a few of my plans at the last minute, which is OK.  I won't be going to coffee this morning as need to get over to Atlanta by 8:15 as am picking up our daughter to bring her out here to see the chiropractor.  She is having a terrible problem with her feet that seems to be helped temporarily with a back adjustment.  Her appointment is at 9:15.

I will then take her back and try to get back to our county senior center by 11 am for our Computer Learning Center Volunteers Meeting and then our User Group meeting at 1 pm.  Then I have an appointment with the lady from the Senior Golden Olympics to pick up some computer files.  Fortunately she is meeting me aa the senior center so that will only take a few minutes.  Sure I will be ready to rest by the time I get home and plan to stay home the rest of the day.

Janet, glad you are able to type and play the piano without doing damage.  It sounds like your cleaning lady really took advantage of Darrel in her cleaning efforts.  We get our entire house cleaned, including the dusting, vacuuming, and scrubbing and it usually takes her about 4 hours.  Our house is a little less than 2000 square feet.  By the way, I think it is great when it is the grandparent who gets spoiled.  :)  I had never really thought of that.

JudyB, hope you have found someone who can help relieve your pain.  I have never tasted bear meat.  Hope you will be able to take things easy for the week.  Let your family members help you for a few days.  They will benefit in helping just as you will in receiving the help.

Ruth Ann, nice to see you are safely home from your trip and hope you have the chance to rest up this weekend.

Carol, so glad to see tha Don was able to work out the details for your trip next week.  Flexibility is always a good thing.  It was nice of the couple to still be willing to open their home to you under the circumstances but you are wise to not add to the burden they are already under with the heart situaiton.

Marilyn, thanks for the website reference.  I have loaded it and will look over it later today.

Jane, God has blessed us so richly this year.  I think the blessing have been their and occurring all the time but I was just not in tune giving God the credit that is due.  Glad you are getting your wood for the winter.  It won't be long before it is needed again.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Well, there's supposed to be a slight chance of rain today, but right now it looks like sunshine.  I see the sun on the beautiful cedar trees over the neighbor's mobilehome and beyond.  That's a beautiful sight indeed!

We're changing our grocery-shopping day to Wednesday next week.  We would normally go today.  So in order to get stocked up for the change we'll have to stop at the local Safeway today.  For the most part we go to a place called Winco over in Eureka for most of the week's shopping, because it's as much as 20 percent lower prices there..  It's even worth making the additional 25 miles roundtrip.  But by changing the day to Wednesday we can do it in conjunction with our shopping at the Co-Op that we also do every week.  Their senior discount day is Wednesday.  So, that way, we can do it all on one roundtrip to Eureka and our next-door town Arcata.  More than you ever wanted to know, I'm sure.

I see that some of our congressmen/senators are bringing up another amnesty bill again for the illegal aliens crossing our border to the south.  Can't we just enforce the law?  Everyone else has to obey the law, so why shouldn't they?  They've broken it by sneaking across the border.

Marilyn

Janet I sent you my current email address. The one listed here is correct too.

Good Morning I got back from Crescent City about 8 last evening. We shopped at Walmart, I got a few things but it sure didn't cost much. I love Walmart but the nearest one is 75 miles away.

I am working this afternoon until 6PM so I will be out this morning taking the dogs for their walks, they didn't get them yesterday.

Al I completely agree with you re the amnesty bill, Just enforcethe laws.!!

60 Chix was great.  There was 10 of us there.  One lady didn't graduate with us...she moved to Florida her Senior year...and I haven't seen her for 48 years.  One other classmate saw her one day and introduced herself and 2-3 days later she was sitting two rows in front of her at church!!  She hadn't seen her all these years either and she has lived in Anderson all her married life!

As soon as I got home, I got my containers for lawn mower gas and went to the station.  This is one of those stations that the gas is 10 cents cheaper with a car wash.   Well, there are four different car washes to choose from...no prices.  So Deluxe or Ultimate??  Which is cheaper?  I chose Ultimate.  $9!!!  It wasn't the cheapest!!  And it cleaned my windows of the spots but the paint was terrible.  Before leaving yesterday morning, I called my cousin...a Paint and Body Shop owner...and asked him if vinegar harmed car paint.  He said if the color came off on your drying rag or if it dulled the paint, then don't do it.  Ivalou's car shined like a silver dollar after vinegar-ing it!!  So even after spending $9 for a car wash, I came home and vinegar-ed my car.  Clean as a whistle!!

Also Ivalou called the Tea Room and they said their sprinkling system only runs at night.  And said we must have drove through something on the way there.  Why was the SUV beside Ivalou spotted also?

Oh, well.  If that is all I have to worry about, I am doing great!

Lapel...the little town I am closest to...has an annual Lion's Club Fish Fry.  It started last night, will be tonight and tomorrow night.  So I think Ivalou and I will go tonight.  Good fish and you always see people you haven't seen for years!  Great reunion!!

And I need to mow this afternoon.   :)

Amen, Al, on the immigration mess--same goes for "hate crimes" legislation---just enforce the laws already on the books, for goodness sake!

Pat, stripping wallpaper is hard work!  Don't overdo it!

Larry, you did have a busy day planned.

I went to Pat's this morning for color and styling, home to help Darrel take down our garage door opener which stopped working a week or so ago, then went to school to have lunch and do a little craft with my Youth Friend.  I planned to come home and paint, but once again, other stuff is demanding my attention.  Something has come up at the Care Home about Mom, and they can't get hold of my sister, so it's up to me to go sort it out.

Welcome Home, Ruth Ann.  So glad you're home safe, and please try to get some rest!

Papa John

#56
Well, I'm afraid I didn't get in here at all yesterday.  I had good intentions but they weren't enough.

We are doing pretty well.  Marilyn, I looked at your medical site and I know that is one point of view.  But I'm sure that Cornelia and I would both be gone today if it were not for the intervention we had in the emergency room and the care of doctors who have the knowledge and skill to help us when we needed their help.  We depend on God who takes care of us.  We give him the glory.  But He expects us to use our best judgment in taking care of ourselves.  We believe in prayer.  And even our doctors say that Cornelia's recovery was a miracle.  But I appreciate the article you shared with us.  All the information we can get can be helpful.

We still need rain here.  I thought we might get some rain from the terrible storm which hit Texas but the rain travelled east just south of us.  But we have had clouds all day.

I hope you are all doing well today.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."  Galatians 2:20

Eph 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.(NIV)

That website was just one man's opinion. I agree with some but certainly not all.

I have been so busy this morning and I thought it was going to be relaxing before I had to go to work and the  meeting this evening. OH BUT NO!! I had to make a bunch of stuff in PSP and EXCEL for the meeting, some new business cards too.

The dogs did get their walks as I had to get away from the computer before my neck and shoulders really got into a fix. It was one of those "hurry up" jobs that should have been done days ago when I had to whole day off. (What a whole day none of those  in my life.)

Tomorrow will be a whole day off for me and I plan to really take advantage of it too. I hope nothing comes up that I  HAVE to do but can only do those thing I WANT to do.

Gotta go now.

Al Moak

I greatly appreciate those of you who agreed with me about the aliens.  However - the one thing we can actually DO about it is to write our congressmen/senators about it.  The last amnesty bill was actually defeated just because enough people wrote.  PLEASE write!

Larry Hanna

Hi everyone.

Al and others, isn't it amazing that our national politicians didn't get the message the last time.  In addition to writing our representatives and others we also need to remember how they voted on issues like that when we go to the ballot box.

Marilyn, you are one busy lady.  However, it sounds like you stay productively occupied. We would likely be bored if we didn't have things to do where we felt we had accomplished something each day.  Some days that something isn't very much in my case but still like to think tha something got accomplished.

Papa John, we did get about 2 inches of rain in our area from the storm that went through.  Some areas around here had more, including downtown Atlanta.  However, we are thankful for what we got.  I see they are now saying we will have a couple of days where it will not get out of the 70s over the weekend.  It should be nice.

Janet, you are the rock that everyone depends on.  Hope it wasn't serious problem with your mother at the care home.  My sister got most of those calls regarding my folks, although we got them before my folks moved to where my sister lives.

Etta Sue, glad you got the spots off your car.  It is always nice to meet old friends as you did with the former classmate.  A lot to catch up on after that many years.

Pat, I am worried for you about doing the wallpaper stripping and painting.  Don't hurt your shoulder.

Time to head for coffee and then have a meeting to attend this morning.  Then plan to watch the football games this afternoon and evening.
