That is a great picture, Pat!

I giggle at the thought of lying down to take a picture.  We drove into Tim Horton's at Seymore and saw a huge Dandy waiting for the wind.  Kass was ready to jump out of the car just to get some seed for the far,.....We have enough weeds!!!

This is a great shot, I can almost feel the wind holding its breath getting ready to blow.

Razor-sharp, edge to edge.  Nice work on a very delicate subject.  You must have held your breath taking it.

Thanks Melody.  The little girl who was with me when I took this sure laughed at my lying flat on my stomach to get the shot!

When I read the title of this, I thought this is going to be a picture of sailboats, turns out to be a well good and sharp picture of a dandelion, here's the paradox, if the wind that the seedheads seem to be waiting for, you'd be waiting for it to calm down again in order to get your shot as sharp as it is now. Then you could have called it, waiting for the wind to drop.

Michael, guess the title meant that the dandy was waiting for the wind.  I was glad it wasn't present when I shot it!

I know the feeling.

Think of all the "dandies" all over the world.  God is totally in charge of every one.  Each seed flies when and where He wants it to go.

The picture is gone.   

Another picture vanished, are they being shop lifted, is there a virus somewhere? Scotty there's loads of pictures disappearing out of the forums, Pat any ideas on this mystery?

None of mine, I hope. That would just be terrible! 

 Maybe it's the horrible Forum Phantom! He's stealing our pictures, and photoshopping them.
