Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

I caught this Great Blur Heron flying along the river bank filled with trees and then he turned and I got him again.  Two quite different backgrounds.   Not the best shots, but okay for spur of the moment.  For the first shot, my camera was actually set up for a landscape shot of the trees and river and my husband called out to me to see the bird and I just panned and shot away.  By the time he had the desert backdrop, I had changed my settings.  Ah...the adrenaline rush...I love it!

Wow hi is beautiful.

Many years ago I drove bus along a road where there was a type of canal on one side.  Many times I saw a Great Blue Heron standing and fishing.  He too was beautiful.  I never did get a picture of him.

You did "good"!

There is a great blue who visits a pond near my home occasionally.  I've never had a chance to get a picture of him and I only saw him flying once.  That time he was just taking off and when he was about 10 or 12 feet above ground he let go a dump (HUGE) that landed only about 2 feet from my car.  :o

Oh, that's too bad you didn't get his photo, but at least you have the memory of him.  They are so fun just to watch.

Thanks very much.

Oh my goodness!  What a story!  I don't suppose you would have wanted a photo at that particular moment, hu?

I love to hear these stories.  Fun stuff.

I saw this guy again as we left and went further downriver walking on the nature trail.  He wasn't flighty this time at all.  Probably watched him for close to an hour.  He was still there when we left.  Would've preferred a closer shot, but the river was in the way.

Oh My.  That is the response I had when I saw him.  HE is indeed beautiful.
