Thank you for allowing me to participate. I have always loved photography. I have been taking pics since I was old enough to hold a camera. I can remember my first Canon 110 film camera. I'd save up my allowance to buy the film and then send the film off ( usually 5-6 rolls) to be developed. Back then, I would send them via mail and it would take several weeks for them to return. I can remember the excitement of waiting for and finally receiving my package. As I have gotten  older, I have purchased different cameras. I now have a Kodak Z712 that my husband bought me several years ago and this year I was finally able to purchase a Canon Rebel XTi. I have a STRONG passion for photography and believe that God is going to use this passion for His Glory someday. In the meantime, I  have been practicing on my kids and plan to practice on several friends and their families. I don't have a lot of money so my "studio" is going to be in my living room with homemade backdrops and lighting and of course God's natural "studio- the great outdoors. Lately, I have been spending a lot of time trying to  learn how to use the camera correctly, get ideas for homemade or cheaply priced props, backdrops, etc. It is soooo fun. I found this site by typing in " Christian Photography" . I am looking forward to communicating with brothers and sisters in Christ about a passion that we all seem to share. Again,thanks for allowing me to participate.
