Now I don't know the undividual changes you have made but they have sure enhanced the finch.

Judy, Hoya is the name brand of lens filters.  CPL = Circular Polarizing Lens  It does for photos what Polarized sunglasses do for you:  filters out reflective glare and makes the sky a nicer blue.  Since I shoot these birds from my office through double-glaze windows, it cut any reflection that might have been there.  Nice blue sky, too!

It sure pays to have the right equipment and know how to use it.  Of course, first you must have the eye for a good picture.   

AMEN Jeanne.  Now I have a theory.  If you don't learn something every day then the day is a waste.  I have learned today.  I have to get one of those polorizing lenses for my camera!

Lovely image, and good color with the polarizer.

Here in SW Georgia with the bright sun light we get, the polarizer can be a picture saver.
