What a great shot, Don.  The concentration and the straining muscles...   

Thanks Jeanne. I wish i had gotten a full shot of him because he was off the ground but I will have to settle for this. This is a action sport that is hard for me to shoot. Most of the time when the action starts I just start firing and hope for the best. Sometimes I get lucky.

This one was shot at a iso of 3200 with a aperture of 4.0 to keep the shutter speed as high as possible. I then ran it through Noiseware to get rid of some of the noise.

Well done.. Great action shot.  I know a young man who wants to get into sports photography.  I wish he would join, he would really benefit with what all is taught here.
