Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Last Saturday I went to Ramsbottom in Lancashire, never got off the bus there ever, I thought its about time I made my presence felt in that lovely little town. Apart from the East Lancashire railway running through it, a sculpture is the thing of note there, but before I went into Rammy, I stepped off the bus in Holcombe bottoms, to have a look at a tiny roadside garden, which sports a wonderful spring display of daffodills, they seem to be crammed together ever so tightly that there seems to be no space hardly between them.

There's a couple of miles separating Holcombe Bottom and Ramsbottom, so got on the bus again and went into town, there's not a lot there but to sit in the town square is quite pleasant. Now this urn is part of the Irwell valley sculpture trail, it sits in the middle of the square and at one time had water pouring out of it.

Here's a closer view of it.

Well I wandered off to see what else I could find, and this house caught my attention, well the yellow doors did, especially set in the surround of the completely white house.

Lastly I got back into Rawtenstall, a bit of shopping in Tesco, and a rare sunset to finish this little trip off with, believe me sunsets are becoming very rare occasions over here in England, even after a sunny day.

You have included us in your lovely journey.  And that was a beautiful way to end the day ...with a lovely sunset!

Your day seems to have been quite rewarding.  I love that urn.  At first I thought it had been tipped over by vandals!   :(

I gotta say I love the last one!
