We spotted the swan on the beaver lodge about 400 yards from the Denali Highway last July.  The beaver swam around quite a bit in front of the swan, and getting close enough for the swan to hiss at the beaver.  Finally the beaver crawled up on the lodge for a bit then went back about his busy self.
