How to Use This Board

  Please read carefully the "Details" about what is expected, and the rules for posting your photos.
  
  Details as described by BigSkyKen:
  "With the Autumn season beginning, the changing weather is often accompanied by windy conditions.  A number of Scriptures reference the wind, and in several of them the Spirit of the Lord is likened to the wind.  As Christians, we don't "see" the Spirit, but we know it exists and we can see evidence of God's presence all around us.  Similarly, we can't "see" the wind, but we are able to see its activity.  So, that is the challenge...to capture evidence of the wind."
  
  
  Let's encourage folks by letting them know we're enjoying their entries. 
  

• Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.    It's best if your photos are at least 500 to 600 pixels wide so that they are easily seen.  Please keep your photos under 175 KB in size.

• If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.  Instructions for doing this are in the "How to" section.  CLICK HERE  If you need any help, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.

• Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.    

• The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on October 9, 2011   and then we'll vote on them.    

• Please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it.  Please only enter photos taken by you.    

• Please put a short title above your photo.  We need the title for the poll listing.  If you want to tell us a bit about your photos, please put it below your picture.   

• Please post only one entry per post/message. 

• Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!

I took this Photo on Christmas Day coming home from South Carolina. I love to watch the way the wind makes the Snow Blow in different patterns.

When Ike blew through in 2008 it took our neighbor's tree down just grazing the side of our house. God protected our house and us.

At The Beach

This photo was taken as I sat on the beach at Old Bar on the NSW coast of Australia. All of a sudden the wind picked up so strongly that sea spray and sand filled the air to such a degree that the beach looked like it was engulfed in a smokey haze to such a degree that true natural colours vanished!
