Jack's thoughtful words prove that faithful Christians continue to witness our Lord even after they have left for glory.  This was done by two(2) people.  Jack's mom, and Jack.  And, you were used of God as the Messenger.

Hello all!  We got a "dusting" of snow today, and more is supposed to come tonight.  Maybe Bernard can work at home tomorrow!!  
I've been working on some of the Christmas pictures I took the other night at my sisters.  I'll post them in a few.

I'm wanting to take one of Travis sleeping under the Christmas tree, but the logistics of that just aren't working out right now.



I hope ya'll have a good night.  I'm really tired, so I think I'll go to bed at a reasonable time tonight.

Pat, Darrel made a wonderful pot of beef stew, I made some devilled eggs; and we had French bread; and one of the ladies brought a jello salad and another one brought petit fours.  So we are heartily!

Lee, you wouldn't want to shake my hand??  I promise you, I have washed them at least 10 times since I have milked a cow!  All that milking did make me develop big knuckles, though.

Nope, it doesn't take all day to milk 80 cows.  By the time we were milking that many, we had milking machines, and my Dad had four of us milkmaids to do the work!  I got up at 4:00 AM for a lot of years; but I never did learn to like doing it!  Had to get the milking done before we could go to school!

  I don't understand.  My hands are clean.  I promise I wash them at least once a week..........  Anyway, we had to wash off the udders before we milked the cows.......

N0!!!  Janet, that isn't what I mean...your hands are probable very strong.  Yikes!  I trust that you wash them. A little advice.  You need to wash your hands twice a week to get them clean.

Zachery, I just checked my dictionary, and found this:  Mullet: any of a family of edible, spiny-rayed fishes found in fresh and salt waters and having a small mouth and feeble teeth, as the striped or gray mullet.  So that is why Jenny thought your nickname was a fish!  We grandma types don't always know about the names for new haircuts!

Janet, yea, I think they are referring to the strength of your hands, not the cleanliness of them.  That's a lot of cows.  I tried milking once when I was on a field trip in elementary school.   If I had had to milk before i went to school, I would still be in second grade!!!!

My eyes are doing better, since we figured out that chocolate is triggering the headaches.    I can still eat a little, but not much.  M&Ms send me to bed now.  bad, bad, bad.
