We have the promise that He will meet every need.

We have the promise of Heaven and "Home."

Thank you for the wonderful Welcome messages! I see this as a great opportunity to see and share photographs with others of like Faith. We are so blessed by our Savoir to be able to share images with eachother. I have seen some of the work you are doing and am impressed and inspired.

I am an old time wet process photographer that has changed over to digital and I love it!

Nice devotional Pat.  Sorry that you are not feeling well.  The virus this year is like that energizer bunny....keeps on keeping on...

The work is developing at the suite...Lots of stress and problems.  Mostly for Wendy, since I am not there.  Certain things will turn out ok...Simply have to keep our cool!

At Christmas

A man is his finest towards the finish of the year;
He is almost what he should be when the Christmas season's here;

I do hope that you feel better, Pat.  It makes me sooo sad   when you are under the weather.  

God bless all today.  I have been working late every day, then trying to clean house, bake some cookies, practice the music at church (we're through! with both musicals....adults & children).

My New Year's resolution...try to get on-line for at least 30 min each day! (without falling asleep)

 Sundance is not near Utah.  I am a bit bummed, but I will get over it.    I guess we will have to find another time to meet.  

I am happy that you are coming home for Christmas so you can be with your family.  I wish you a very Merry Christmas and your family too.  

Liz~Wonderful poem you posted.  It is true that everyone seems to drop their burdens, hatred, and they are more forgiving at this time.  I even see it in the stores as I shop.  There are more people smiling and talking in the isles.  It is the greatest holiday.  I pray that all will see the love of Jesus the Christmas holiday.

Kathy! 30 minutes a day is a lot for someone who doesn't get on much.  I hope you can fullfill your resolution. Sounds like you have been a busy lady.  Hope your day goes well. (((hug)))

Good Morning, Thank you Pat for the devotion. It is good tosee Mieka has been here and also Brother aL. We don't often see you Al so early in the morning posting in NEM.

I am working both jobs today, doing some grocery shopping, picking up my medecation at the drugstore. Two more gifts to wrap for Gilbert and Sarah. The dogs willb e staying in the house while I am gone, it is expected to rain and the wind has been blowing a lot most of the night.

So I am off the computer now to get ready for work

Good morning.  I will break my silence because of Mieka's message.  It is so nice to see you Miss Mieka!  Do I understand from your message that you are back or that you will be back in America soon?

Luke 2:10-11  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy[/b] that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. (NIV)

I think during this season of the good news.  There are so many things we hear about which are not good news but bad.  However the "good news of great joy"  out weighs all the bad news.  If a package under the Christmas tree makes one happy, how much greater happiness the present in the manger.

Thanks for your scriptural message for all of us.  I'll share about Mieka.  She's still over the Pacific Ocean and was in a hotel when she paged me.  She's maybe going to be in the USA for a short Christmas vacation and then going back to Tibet.  She's just waiting to see about whether she can do this.  Let's all pray for journeying mercies for our girl.

Chris~I hadn't heard the carol/poem before.  Thanks for sharing that.  Merry Christmas to you too.

Good to see Papa John and Al posting!

I KNOW this hurting arm is from sitting here at the computer.  If I 'recline' and look at the monitor, it doesn't hurt.  But If I raise my head, it does hurt.  So I am trying to keep my chin to my chest!!!!  

I went to my Urologists.  For those who don't know, I have bladder cancer.  Now I don't want a pity party!  It is 100% controllable.  Thank God for that!!!  But I have to have cystoscopies about every 3-months.  Yesterday, was the best report for months.  I had surgery two years ago next month...last of 6 surgeries so far.  That tumor was totally different from any before.  Flat like a paint splash.  It took quite a bit of scraping to remove it.  This was the first cystoscopy that didn't show redness in that area.  Dr. Beam was very pleased as I was, also.   The receptionist gave me a paper to update if needed.  One of the questions was how I felt that day.  Welllllllll, I told them about my arm.  I tried to call my Family Practioner before going to Dr. Beam but he is out of the office until after the Holidays.  So Dr. Beam gave me some Celebrex.  That is helping but I still have pain.  I think I will go to my Pharmicist and see what they can tell me to do!

Just an inconvenience at this time of year and makes me angry that it won't go away!!!!

I'm so sorry you're suffering with this arm, Etta Sue.  Great news though in the other department.  That's terrific to find out.

I think that over the next few days, you might find celebrex to work.  It won't work immediately.  It has to build up.  I take it twice a day.
