Certainly a nice surprise to read the postings for today and see the message left for us by Meika.  Meika, I hope you will be able to drop in often.  We all have missed you.

Today was our SeniorNet Computer Learning Center monthly volunteer meeting, including a business lunch.  We had a really good turnout and meeting.  We are preparing for our Spring session of classes.  

Pat, sure glad to read that you are feeling much better, although sorry to read that winter had returned.  It is about 63 here today and not a cloud in the sky.  

I heard on the radio today that yesterday, when the bombs went off in Spain, was the 911th day from our 9/11 attack of the World Trade Center.  Sort of gives me a chill.

Every time I do, we get 3 to 4 inches of new snow in the next 24 hours.

I have been busy posting some of my favorite recipes again, some are Vegetarian 1 or 2 are not. I hope you will all check them out. They are very healthy recipes. Y-all know me i try my best to eat the healthiest foods. Except for chocolate of course i love chocolate and cheesecake. Those are my decadent foods or pleasure foods so I have to eat healthy the rest of the time.

Mr.Larry, That is realy scarey to hear that but it is God working his wonders!!   and they are awesome!!!!

I have been out most of the day and am catching up on e-mail, etc.  How lovely to know that Mieka is well and coming to CP.  Her posts are always a delight to read.

The vet phoned with test results about Mr. P and it is his heart.  We may have him for a short while if the shots continue to work and he is able to eat.  Will only be for a short time tho' and we have to get ready to say 'bye.  Not easy with humans or pets.  Amanda is having a hard time dealing with this....Thanks for all the kind words.  

A sunny day here on the island.  God's beauty is bursting out all over the place.  How blessed we are!  Such terrible sadness in our world and so many people suffering.  If only the hearts of the dishonest and cruel would change and be taken over by the Holy Spirit.  Guess that will only happen when our dear Lord returns.

Hi, Marilyn, and thanks for the welcome home!  We just got here.

It is too soon to tell if the treatments will help Beth, but they feel that they will.  It's been a rather long week in some ways.  I read five big books!

I just came directly to the last page of posts; now I will go back and see what Mieka said!

Hi, Pat!  I sure have missed you!  I did spend some $$ to get on the computer, but it was a total waste!  Very frustrating---I couldn't get the thing to work, and every time I tried to sign in, it went blank, so I couldn't post.  Then I tried to email you, and that got lost, too.  So I gave up, thinking I would be home in just a few days, anyway.  So here I am!

MIEKA, if you pop in again, here are some really big hugs for you---((((((((hugs)))))))).  I love and miss you so much, little one, and it was such a treat to see you had gotten to pop in and greet us.

I need to eat a bite, as I have to fast from tonight until noon tomorrow for those blood tests.  I will come back and check out the photos.  The only ones I saw from Texas were those of Lila Mae in the toy bag---so cute!

Soni, until June???  We can be pretty safe taking off the snow tires by the middle of April.  We're all white covered here again today.  

Several years ago, my father and I were going to Idaho and the highway (I-80) was closed due to snow at Elk Mountain in May!  We had a 100 mile detour to make due to the fact that we didn't have chains on our tires.  We don't use them here in Ontario.

I live in a hunter's paradise, but I couldn't shoot some poor game animal.  Nope, couldn't do it.  I do have an excellent fishing boat that Nard's would love.  Our 45X12-mile lake is pretty inviting.

Just came in to say goodnight.   I just got back from Missionfest in Toronto.  There were a lot of wonderful booths of all the mission organizations around the world.  I helped to mann the EE booth.
