JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

You know . . . God blesses in many ways.  There are some blessings, though, that I like to call superblessings.  I thank our Father for giving Chris to Margit and for giving Margit to Chris - that's God's superblessing!

If you saw this before I corrected it, please be aware that I am indeed glad that our Father "gave Chris to Margit and Margit to Christ,"  but I'm also glad our Father gave Margit to Chris!

Hi Pat...I enjoyed the devotional.    There is a song that says "Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me"   Do you have the music for that?

Thank you Ria...I know heaven will be so amazing!  We cannot imagine what it will be like with our finite minds.

Hi Kathy...It is so good to have Christian parents who lead us to God and encourage us to walk in His ways.  Sounds like you had a good childhood.  God Bless.

Chris...So sorry to hear the awful news about Frank.  I will be praying for his family.  Just terrible!

Etta Sue...sounds like you have had a thorough going over.  Good to hear everything is okay.   Praise God.

Eddie..I believe like you about heaven.   I'm sure no mosquitos or june bugs or so see ums or snakes will be there!

Chris & Margit...I loved your love story.   God's richest blessing on your marriage.

Hi  Janet...Hope the results of your tests are perfect.

Hi Ruth, I saw the Passion and it did have a huge impact on me.   I am hoping that many people will ask questions about life and come to know the Saviour because of this movie.

Everyone have a wonderful evening.  God Bless

Love Ruthie

Hi, friends,

I'm trying to battle dizziness, along with the doctor's help. Maybe I can post more once it's under control.\

Ruth Ann
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Pat

I'm so sorry, Ruth Ann that you are battling dizziness.  I wondered if you received my emails.

Get well there, my sister!

Janet

Ruth Ann, I too will be praying for that dizziness to go away.  God bless, dear one.

Thanks, Ruthie.  Other than my cholesterol being 321, the rest of my tests were normal or very near to normal.  Praise God!

I won't stay on here long, haven't felt so well today.  Nothing particular except the neck/arm pain, just general malaise, I guess.  Tomorrow will be better.

I had a little chat with Trisha today.  She is excited about her wedding, coming up in July.

Sarah -- That was fun, and described me on some days.  I wouldn't mind being 8 again, but I would like to skip the teenage years, if I may.  ;)

good night to all.  Bernard got our well fixed (wooHOo!!!!) so we have water, again.  God is good.

"See" you tomorrow!!

Just going to say hi to everyone, although I know it is late in the day.  I had a very busy day topped off with a Worship committee meeting at the church this evening.  Spent all morning running errands and all afternoon working on the church webpage so didn't get here until just now.  Need to go back and finish reading the postings for yesterday.

Hi...
I got home this afternoon, had some stuff to take care of for the church, and came in here to read all the posts since I left on Thursday ... Then I got a phone call, so had to get off line and take care of that ... NOW here I am back again!!

I had an awesome time away ... from Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. until this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

It was really great meeting Marilyn for the first time ... (I'd already met with Marbeth and Al) and we had a good time wandering around for most of the afternoon.  I left McVille and made it to Ukiah before stopping for the night.  Friday morning I continued on my journey into the past ... went to my first ever high school reunion (Class of '52)!  What a weekend that was!  A good friend from 6th grade was hosting the mini-reunion and she undertook to show me around all our old haunts, and even picked me up at my motel, on Saturday, and took me along on our ferry excursion across the bay to San Francisco's Ferry Building ... shopped all the little shops and farmers' markets along the wharf and then returned in time to take a tour of her home and church and then get ready for the dinner that evening.  Sunday, I got up early enough to go to her church and see an awesome presentation by a Korean woman (part of their Women's History month) before going to the brunch in Sausalito with the gang from  "Marin '52"...

After I'd said good-bye, and exchanged email addresses with everyone, I drove to Sacramento and had a really fabulous surprise!  I was able to visit with all four of Jean's children and grandchildren!.... That's Tim and his wife and two sons; Dave and his two children and Laura and Tricia ... It was wonderful!  We met at a restaurant, but then I went with Laura and Tricia to Dave's home and "hung out" with them for a few more hours.  I am really one happy grandma right about now!

I'll try to get back here later, but right now I'm a little tired and I think I have other stuff to take care of at the moment ... It's good to be home!!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Pat

Just hope you got lots and lots of photos, Jane!

Welcome home!

Fast Eddie.  O love your theology and agree totally.  It WILL all pan out in the end.

Chris what a wonderful love story.  I was really touched by the tenderness in it.  Congratulations.  How does Margit like living on the other side of the pond?

Well I have finished reading page one. I will comment on the rest as I go!.

JudyB

Yes Sarah I can relate to that.  It is particularily hard as a young person growing up these days.  Most of us as adults have never had to deal with the issues you, as a teen, have to deal with.  That makes it hard for  you to deal with life, and hard to for us oldsters, to know how to help.  BUT always know not just know in your head but KNOW in your heart that your heavenly Father does understand what you have to deal with and He is there to Listen as you go every day and every minute of each day.  Trust Him to walk the road with you and He will.  We love you sweetie, and are continuing to pray for you.

Love Judy

Well I have just read all todays posts.

Karma, You asked how we cam feel valuable I think you put it!  Well some feel valuable in being needed. But ultimately you value comes from Christ.  He thought you were valuable enough to die for you!  Now that is an awesome thought.

I spent the greater part of the afternoon with mother. It is difficult at my age to change my eating habits.  At 83 it is near impossible.  Unfortunately she has to as her blood sugar is too high.  I worked some of the issues through with her today and hopefully that helped.

John left for Tennessee today.  Unfortunately not as far as Ruth Annes.  He has a driver to evaluate as well so it will be an interesting trip.

I an really tired, so I am going to bed.  I will read a bit, then off to dreamland.

Night all
JudyB
