JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Thanks Marilyn for putting in this message for Liz.  It's so sad.  Al and Liz were friends for many years and now he's gone on to his reward.

Liz, if you are looking in here, we love you and are thinking of you and praying for you at this time.

I amm just getting back in here after class and sitting down to watch the news.

PRAISE REPORT---PRAISE REPORT---PRAISE REPORT!!!Beth got word today that she has been approved for Social Security Disability!!!  After all the months of waiting and all the red tape and paper work; once we got someone on our side, it didn't take long at all.  Praise God, and bless Carol Ann and Charlotte!!

Beth has to have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy in the morning EARLY and I will be taking her to Guymon, Oklahoma, for that.  I do pray they do not find anything seriously wrong in those areas.

Carol, it is really nice to see your post.  I plan to go see the Passion movie again at least once or twice more, as it is coming here to our little town starting April first.  I know I missed a lot the first time watching it.

Liz, I am so sorry about your friend Al.  But it is such a comfort to know that He knew the Lord and now is in heaven, never to know sickness or pain any more.  (((hugs)))

I think I will go eat, get ready for bed and then read until I get sleepy.  I missed several hours' sleep again last night because of my neck/arm.  Tonight will be better, please God.

My heart is broken. A very good friend's 14 year old son has been killed in a motorcycle accident. I have posted a prayer request. I can't see to write more.

I have enjoyed all the comments regarding burial and I to have mixed feelings on cremation.   I do feel that this is a personal thought and choice of how we desire to rest until the Lord comes to rise us up to glory.  We tend to put a lot, money I mean into a funeral and is this really correct in God's eyes?

As for cremation or not...even down to the color of the casket...if you make your wishes known ahead of time...your family can fulfill them.

Most relatives when confronted with making these decisions think that "Nothing is too good for my -------."

If you haven't made your wishes known, it leaves those of us left behind to try to do the best for them.  Usually that means: "No expense barred."

I mean, "Who wants to look like a cheapskate?"

As for me, "Do it the cheapest way possible."

This has been a tough day for me.

Pat called. we had a really nice conversation, Thankyou Pat.  It was appreciated.

My darlin is home, it is nice to have him here.

I am watching Jake go down hill.  He still has lots of life in him, but I believe the cancer has brohen through his paw as he rarely steps on it.  He uses it for balance still though.  Hurry up spring.

Well I am off for the evening.
