Well, over the years, I've just been collecting them.  I have a folder on my computer called "PSTubes" and it's all divided into sections like "Birds", "Animals", "Birthdays", "Flowers", "Anniversaries", "Holidays" (and this is subdivided into the various holidays like Valentines, etc.)

Whew!  We finally have our power back after some wing-doozies of thunderstorms - trees and wire down all over the place and widespread power outage.  I haven't been around lately - kind of hard to get online with no electricity.   

Marilyn, as Pat has said you can collect tubes from all sorts of places, but you can also make them yourself from your own pictures or graphics you download.

OH mr Moak (((HUG))) I know in all my heart it is a most wonderful place here at the Christian Photographers.  I know it is a please God that it is a place where so many can read and learn from so many different Christians. It is Gods wish that we are as one. and it is very special place to see a so many different Christians share and learn of the words of God.

We share the words from here at my dinner so many times. I just know so many others do it too. Some are quiet and perhaps do not make a post. but if they see such love here, and if they will wish to learn more, I know in my heart it is Gods wish to share his love.

Ms Ria it is so wonderful to read your words here each day I can do it. You are SO far away and you share this love of God.

Mr Moak and Ms Marylyn and Ms Karmat and ms Janet and Ms Etta Sue and my Papa John and everyone I love you all very much.  I am sad when I do not get to see the words from some when I come here to read.

Ms Jenny , Mr Lee , Mr Anthony , Ms Karen and so many others that are forever in my heart. if they are gone away for a short time, the love they did share it is not gone at all. I have it with me today.

Hi everyone.

Mieka, so nice to see you posting and your last comments brought a big smile to my face.  Your postings are just right and you are always a ray of sunshine when you post here.  Hope you will be able to post again before long.

Today was our SeniorNet Learning Center Monthly Volunteer meeting.  We had a pretty small turnout today but had a nice lunch provided by the organization, as we usually do for our business meetings.  We are not going to do a summer session of classes and they announced that we would not have volunteer meetings in June or July.  So we will have some time to recharge and get ready for the fall.  Our volunteers are getting a bit weary and need a break.

Pat, I agree with the comments of Al, Eddie and the others that the value of this site cannot be measured by the number of people who post.  We will never know how many people have viewed the site or how God will choose to use it for his benefit and glory.  The kind words and encouragement provided to each other and more importantly the prayer support we find here is the key in my mind.  I think of the new friends I feel I have made, and hope the people posting here consider me a friend, with a very special sense of joy.

I am going to be brief today, at least briefer than normal for me, and give you all a break.  Hope everyone has a nice day.

I just got home from helping decorate.  Boy, what a big job that is!  It looks very pretty, though.

One of Darrel's high school classmates and his wife are in town, and they called and left a message saying they want to see us.  Since Darrel is away until later, I think I will go out to their motel and visit with them a bit.  Then he can visit them tonight while I am at the banquet.

Larry, I feel as you do, that I have made many friends here.  If I don't always answer each one, it is just because ...........whatever..........not that I don't love you all.  'Cause I do! 

Mieka, it is so good to see you show up here.  It is obvious that you are someone special to us at CP.  You are one of us and we DO love you.

This is a special place for me. I have found many cyber friends her that are more than cyber friends you all are family. Then I had had the blessing of meeting with some of you all, in person, on the phone and on IM. We have had some very real and personal conversations.

We have supported one another in our down times and prayed with each other  for so many things.

I love you all and although miss those who have not been her in awhile, I love them too.

This is so neat.  I had never heard this before.
It is beautiful and surely makes the 5 finger prayer a
worth while part of our lives.

1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, dentists, physicians, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction.  Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders.  Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify.  It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They  need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others.  As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you."  Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

Hey!  I've got an idea that oughtta get the post count up - let's have a big old rip roaring FIGHT

I'm kidding, I promise.  I do think that some of the higher post counts in the past have been when there were "controversies" of some sort, because it spurs folks to contribute their opinions. 

So, I guess, the fact that the post counts are a little down is actually an indicator of PEACE, which I think is good.  That's just a little positive thing to see in it

Between our internet troubles (which are only improved, not completely fixed) and the fact that Karma and I have both been extremely busy, time has just been so precious.  You guys are some of our best friends, but we just cannot spend a lot of time "playing" at the computer and still hope to somehow accomplish all the things we have going on.  But we'll get it under control.    We're not going anywhere. 

One thing I would encourage everybody on - go ahead and make a SHORT post if that's all you can do - we like to know you have been around.  There's nothing wrong, at least in MY opinion, with just saying "Hi" and then going on with your business. 

Glad to see some new faces!  Welcome to CP.
