JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Fast Eddie, I'm not sure if I know that hymn.  I didn't see your post either till just now.  I apologize.

Maybe someone else will know the hymn.  If Chris in England was back posting, I bet he'd come up with it.

Hello all!  A beautiful day here in Western NC.  Travis and I had a good time today, then Bernard got home and grilled our supper.  yum yum.

Sorry to be so scarce.  I have really enjoyed reading today (except for the bad news, and even then, thank your for sharing -- I like to think that by helping carrying the load, we are helping brothers and sisters in Christ, whether or not we can "see" it), and really liked the story about the clay balls.  It's funny, as I was reading it, I got a "different" idea from the story.  The clay balls were opportunities that I have had along the way that I either thought of as obstacles and tried to get rid of, or away from.  When I finally recognized them for what they were, I suddenly had more "opportunities" than before.

Karmat I like your analagy.  I know I for one have missed a lot of opportunities.

Fast Eddie I know that hymn too, just cannot place it.  I have a friend who may be able to help, not tonight though.

Blessing and a peaceful night to all.

Marilyn

That hymn you all are asking about is a contemporary song by Randy Phillips of Phillips, Craig and Dean.
Crucified with Christ is the title.
"Good people take care of their animals, but even the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel" Prov. 12:10

I am ready for bedtime tonight and no particular reason but both of us have felt drowsy all afternoon.

Soni:  folfing - first I thought you hadn't spelled it right but now that is a new game I have never heard about.  Thanks for your comment on Don's hearing aids.  I have a bit of a loss myself but they said come back in a year or so and that was two or three years ago.

Pat:  Thanks, I wrote Antrim Coast Road down.  We just got the railroad time schedule today and will check things out.  I am not sure we have time to go north.

Papa J:  How sad for the neighbors and community to lose two small ones.  We should cherish every minute we have together.

Janice:  Your pie story is great.  I have another one.  When my mother was visiting as we had our third baby - a neighbor kindly phoned and told us she was bringing cherry pie for dinner.  We bit into it and the taste was great but it was filled with cherry stones, then we had a frantic phone call from her telling us that she forgot to mention that she never pits the cherries.  Of course, we said, it didn't matter but it was a funny way for us to find out.  It was good anyway.

Larry and Al:  I am praying for your good health report very soon.

Locking the door now about 15 minutes early.

The thunder is rolling outside and I don't want to have to shut down quickly...
