Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Papa John

Today we drove over to Tullahoma, Tennessee, and worshipped with a church where we worked a number of years ago.  They are moving into a new building and were having a home coming.  It was wonderful to see many brothers and sisters whom we had not seen in many years.  The church has a membership of around 450 or 500.  We had 950 for a wonderful period of worship and praise.  Afterwards we all ate together in their fellowship hall, a wonderful meal.

I have enjoyed reading all the posts today but am a little tired so will just write this little bit for now.

Let me join the others in saying to Mieka that we all love you very much.  God bless you in your travels wherever you go.

That was a good article, Marilyn.  So true.

Pat, I think it is Scarborough, Ont.  They are holding the 17th Annual Joe Maire Tournament in Sept., so Jules' brother lives on in the work he started.  Sports can do so much good in the lives of our young people.

The kids left to have dinner out this evening.  It is their 23rd Anniversary.  Something of a milestone in this age, hope they have another 23 +.

Got to go and nurse my Bee Stings now....yes, it was another wasp. :(

Pleasant dreams and God Bless.

Ruthie

Hi Everyone, I was out of town yesterday and at a birthday party today, so have been away a lot.  Tonight I was watching President Bush and Laura Bush on Larry King Live.  They are great people and make a lot of sense.  I certainly would vote for him again if I lived in the States.

My right eye is completely foggy.  Looks like I need to get this cataract removed soon.  Going to see another opthamologist next week to advise me.  It is the same eye that is protruding from my thyroid condition so it's not a simple thing.

Well I need to get to bed.  My Brazilian friend is still here and already sleeping.  Hope to talk to you tomorrow.   Good night everyone.  Good night Pat.

Love Ruthie

Liz:  Bee stings are no fun and I am very sensitive to them, when I get stung I take some meds and then head for the Dr,s office.

Mieka:  I too enjoy those long posts you bring sunshine into our homes and life.  As I am one of those listeners and oh yes I too make noise when I sleep.

Jenny:  I also enjoy your postings. The more you talk the more I listen it brings joy to my life.

Ria:  Take care of your father and we will be waiting for your return.

Pat:   Thanks for your continued work on CP

Being away on vacation makes for catchup on CP as well as in the home.
Both Mel & I met our daughter Sue late this afternoon for a few minutes as she was headed north for a vacation.

Mieka:  Perhaps I will be making a lot of noise by the time you have a chance to check in.

Liz, yes, I'm sure that this was a wasp and not a bee.  Bees don't normally sting a person just sitting reading.  You have to be in their way and really interrupt them in their work of collecting pollen.  And at the hive, if you're in front of it impeding their ability to get into the hive with their load, they might dive-bomb you but wasps are so different.  I love bees having been brought up in a beekeeping family.

Hi Ruth!  Great to see you here.  Glad you had a nice vacation.

I'm sorry about your eye, Ruthie.  Keep us posted about your next appointment.

Sounds like you had a nice visit to a church where you used to pastor, Papa John.  It's nice to do that.  You meet old friends and make new ones.
