JennyW: Hello Janet! I check every day. I wish everyone would get going again! I miss seeing pictures and reading posts! 2025-01-24, 06:54:04

Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Just stopping bny for a few moments to let you all know that I am thinking about you andmising you when I don't have tiem to stop by.

Got turned down by yet another mortgage company. I really do not want to take out a second for the down payment and my very small savings account is too small. :-[ I don't know what to do next except to just give up. I know that I will never be able to own my own home anyway, I guess it was just a dream. I don't even make enough money to qualify for the Rural Housing Self building program.  You have to make at least 22,K per year and I don't get that.

Yes, she is, Ursula! I can't wait to be a new "auntie." Am anxious to hear when the babe arrives.

I was going to compliment those who put the devotionals in NEM - aren't they great! (Both the devotionals which set me off on a good thinking "jaunt" first thing each morning, and also the moderators who so generously share their time with us all.)

...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Marilyn, I know how you must have wanted your own home.  I know you already know that if God hasn't planned this, and given you the means to do it, then the very thing that is your "dream" can also become a big rock around your neck.    Your faith in God's perfect plan for your life is so evident.  If this home isn't for you, then I know that soon you'll know why.  I'm praying for you with all of us here.

Even if God says "no"........we still feel the disappointment.  And if He says, "Yes", we sure want to celebrate and rejoice with you.

Father, take care of your little girl.  You know her needs more than she knows her own.  Bless her, bless her, bless her.  Not because I ask.....but because you love her with God-Passion, just as the loving Father you are.  Thank you, Lord, that we are Your family, and you are so able to care for us.  We don't always understand, but we trust you, Lord.  We in You, and You in us.  In the Precious Name of Jesus, I come for our sister, Marilyn.  Amen

OK, I'm confused, Ruth Ann, are you related to Karma, or are you going to be an "auntie" in a more general sense?  I like aunties, on the reservation everybody had tons of aunties.

Agreed and seconded about the devotionals and moderators.

Marilyn, you sound so sad.  I'm sorry.  I really very much hope that things work out for you, one way or another, and that you're happy with the outcome.  Take care of yourself.

Skief:... or Mike -...not sure just what to call you... :D   I was quite interested to read about the sleep apnea you have.  My husband has been diagnosed with the same thing.  He has tried two different things to breathe with.  Neither one was helpful, mostly because they bothered him so much, that part way through the night, he would practically "rip it off his face".

I am going back to read the link you put in.  I worry about him not using it, because, Norm is VERY over weight, esp. around his stomach, gets shortness of breath (Larry can relate to this), and has to use oxygen at night.

Oh, yes, Mike, another thing.  ...Norm finds it impossible to use his oxygen, and the mask both.

Sorry to bother everyone with this.  Sometimes I feel like I am "alone" here....its so good to share one anothers' burdens.....isn't it?

Louise:  If you happen to stop by...please say hello....I've missed your posts!

There are so many of our CP friends whom I haven't seen for such a long time.

Some month, we should have "Friend Day"....where each of us contacts a "Friend" who hasn't been here for awhile.

any ideas on this?? ::)

Mieka just popped on to greet me, then was gone!  :'( :'(  I sure miss that little sweetheart.

Well, another day has past, only what was done for Christ will last.  Sobering thought!

Nards and Karma..........I miss you!  I hope all is going well with you, little TAS and the coming baby.  (((hugs)))

Oh, Marilyn - I didn't mean to overlook your post.  I'll be praying that somehow, the way will open for you to own your own home.

Glad Fay is able to be in her own home.....I hope she dosen't try to be too independent though...she needs to "remember" her age :)

John - I see where you stopped by yesterday...or was it earlier today...not sure; but, congratulations to you as well.  I congratulated Beth earlier.

I wish nothing but God's very best for both of you!  You are a lovely couple!

Pat - have we heard yet, whether John and Johanna have had their baby ?  Its a boy I believe, and I think I can even remember what his name will be....LUCAS!...(or was it Luke?)....well, thats pretty good though...wouldn't you say?...to remember THAT much? ;D...LOL ;)
