Janet: Hello, Friends!  Let's get this going again!  I miss  hearing from all of you! 2025-01-23, 19:26:16

Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

      Morning Devotional...

All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
      Proverbs 15:15

Certain believers get upset because they feel others seem to avoid them.

Often it is because they are negative Christians-complaining about their circumstances, or recounting their illnesses and medical operations!

A happy face and a cheerful response will always attract friends, and be a wonderful testimony to the world. It is also a therapy to overcoming your own woes.

The joyful heart has a continual feast, whatever the circumstances.
      --Brian Russell

Come ye that love the Lord,
And let your joys be known,
Join in a song with sweet accord,
      While ye surround His throne.
      I. Watts

Good Morning Friends ... It's Wednesday which means 1/2 way point till the weekend. So, first off I'd like to say SONI I checked out your site with all your pictures & they are wonderful and, I really liked the JOKER BEAR (I'm a bear collector) he was really cute. All, the others are really beautiful & you have a wonderful talent for sure !!

As I said it's a busy day. My daughter gets out at NOON due 2 the fact that the teachers are wanting to attend the school ~ church secretary sister's funeral. She died of a heart - attack last week so it sorta took all of the church members by surprize so the secretary has been off from work since Monday last week to be with her parents which have some serious medical problems so do keep all of them in prayer.

Well, the weather is nice ... heat wave around here it's about 35 outside & so it is nice & warm out here & so I better go & get a few more things posted so before I take my leave I want to let everyone here now that I'm praying for each of you who have lost loved ones or if you have a loved one who is sick I'm praying for them.

      Till next time ...

Karma ~ It is always so sad when little ones aren't feeling well.  Hopefully Trav is feeling much better today.  BTW, we need pictures of him.  I know he has grown so much since you guys were here.

Sonja ~ My, but you have been busy.  I see your professional photography has picked up and you are a busy lady.  Your photography is wonderful.  You sure know how to capture just the right things.  I have always heard that babies and animals are hard to photograph but you have proven that wrong in your photos.  Word of mouth will get you far, girl.  I can't praise your photography enough.  I knew you were good but now I know you are superb!  You go, girl!

Janet ~ What can I say?  Just know that God is with you and Beth and the other girls today and every day.  God Bless All of You.

Kind of gloomy out today but warmer.  I even saw Stray Cat drinking water from a puddle out by the garage.  He seems to be better.  Warmer weather does that for all living, breathing people/animals.

      Larry Hanna

Hi everyone.  Wanted to stop by for a quick note as have a full day and won't be home until late tonight so won't have a chance to post before tomorrow.

This afternoon starts our 8 weeks of classes.  My friend and I are jointly teaching a Windows Essential class at our SeniorNet Computer Learning Center.  The class is 2 hours long, one day a week.

After I leave there need to stop at the library and then get to a friends house by 4:45 pm so we can head down to Atlanta to attend the evening rehearsal of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Symphony Chamber Chorus (about 60 voices).  Our choir director is a long time member of the chorus and invited us to come and hear the final rehearsal for the performance they will be doing the next three nights.

I was able to obtain a ride so I don't have to drive down there.  We are leaving early to have time to get something to eat before the rehearsal starts at 7 pm.  I am looking forward to it but know I won't be home until probably midnight.

Janet and Beth I continue to pray for your family at this difficult time.

      See you all tomorrow.

      Sonifo

Etta Sue, you sure know how to make a person feel like she ;D is on top of this world.  Thank you for the wonderful compliment. ((((((hug))))))  Luv you! :-*

I have to get some pay sheets ready for 3 clients and run to the print store and get a bunch of 4x6's.  Busy busy!

Pat, wonderful devotion.  I love a positive attitude.  Thanks!

Larry, I wish I was going with you.  I love that kind of music.  So soothing to the soul.  Have a wonderful time.

      Off I go.

Personal Life: Your Thoughts a Sanctuary

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name
is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a
contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to
revive the heart of the contrite ones."
      --Isaiah 57:15

I have been thinking recently about how important my thoughts are. I
don't have to do wrong to get under blistering conviction and repent.
I can lose the fellowship of God and sense of His presence and a
sense of spirituality by just thinking wrong. God has been saying to
me, "I dwell in your thoughts. Make your thoughts a sanctuary in
which I can dwell. See to it." You can't do anything with your
heart--that is too deep--but you can control your thoughts....

Your theology is your foundation. The superstructure is your
spiritual experience built on that foundation. But the high bell
towers where the carillons are--those are your thoughts. And if you
keep those thoughts pure the chimes can be heard ringing out "Holy,
Holy, Holy" on the morning air.

Make your thoughts a sanctuary God can inhabit, and don't let any of
the rest of your life dishonor God. See to it that not a foot of
ground is unholy. See to it that every hour and every place is given
over to God, and you will worship Him and He will accept it.  Tozer
      on Worship and Entertainment, 10-11.

"May my thoughts be a sanctuary this morning, Father, where You can
      dwell comfortably. Amen."

      Hi, friends,

It's afternoon and the surgery went well. Pam had involvement with a third disc, so they fixed that, too. Then, there was some material from the ruptured disc on the spinal cord, so that's what was causing the terrible pain. They removed that. She is back home and has slept almost all afternoon.

Awakened hungry and enjoyed soup, crackers and diet soda. So, I'm thankful she's doing as well as she is.

On the way to the hospital the transmission went out on their van. Fortunately, a friend was following them to accompany them during the surgery. So she picked them up and they went on. Mark has had to work with that situation all afternoon - heavens knows what it will cost for the repair.

      Must go - take care.

hope everyone is doing well :D

Ruth Ann, I'm so happy that the surgery went well.  I was wondering about it and came just now hoping that there would be news.

I can't imagine the transmission going out of their vehicle on the way to the hospital though!  That's awful!

Now, we must all remember our Beth tomorrow morning at 8 am Kansas time when she has her surgery.

      Amazing Love
      (Click to hear music)

My Lord what love is this?
      That paid so dearly
That I, the guilty one, may go free.

      Chorus:
      Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
      That I, might live.
      That I, might live.

And so, they watched Him die
      Despised and rejected
But oh, the blood He shed, flowed for me.

      Chorus:
      Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
      That I, might live.
      That I, might live.

And now, this love of Christ
      Will flow, like rivers
Come wash, your guilt away, And live again.

      Chorus:
      Amazing love, oh what sacrifice
The Son of God, given for me
My debt He paid, and my death He died
      That I, might live.
      That I, might live.

      Glad you like the games.
And no, I don't skate anymore.  I took lessons for about five years and coached for a year.  Got too expensive though.  Now I just go skating for fun. My cousins going to come visit me in a few weeks though and she's 7 and she asked me if I could teach her to skate so I said I would give her a lesson :) That should be fun :D (she lives in England at the moment but she's moving to Canada soon) I never got far in it though because I could only ever afford lessons once a week since it is SOOO expensive. If I thought I could afford it I'd definetly still be skating more often :)

      Pat

What part of Canada is your cousin going to live in?

I've heard how expensive it is (skating lessons).  You know what?  I drove Elvis Stojko on the bus to school for awhile!

What a terrible train crash in California today!  And what a drastic thing for this person to do--try to commit suicide by parking his car on the tracks causing this awful scene!

"Click for Waterloo Wellington, Ontario Forecast"

Pat she's going to live in Toronto, so nowhere near me.  (I live by Vancouver)
That's really neat about Elvis :)  I think I'll see him skate again in February.  He's supposed to be coming to my town for a show. He's one of the few skaters that I haven't actually met though.

      TeresaDawn

i didn't hear about the crash but that happened in England while I was there as well.  some guy wanted to kill himself and ended up killing 8 other ppl as well including two kids, and injuring a bunch more.

      Etta Sue

It's that time again!  Time to put the cat out!
