A Grateful Poem

I am happy and grateful to be alive,

Time will tell with patience on my side,

With God as my Guide, I'll be alive,

This passage we call life is a journey,

The journey is bumpy and sometimes ruff,

Be grateful for your life God has given you,

He's not finished with you as of yet,

Yes there's joyous days ahead,

I'll try and see the positive instead,

By far to long I have been negative and mad,

Now stop and smell the roses they say,

Okay, I'll say it this way,

Take time in your life to see all God has given you,

Life is short on the Earth God Created,

We need to live life to our fullest,

We only live once,

Achieve your dreams once day at a time,

God is there to take care of you.
