Hello there, Judy Mc!  Yes, Oscar and Maxine are already Christians, which is a great thing.  Yes, Beth and John are still "an item" and we all missed John at the reunion.  Beth called him from there and we all told him we missed him, then signed a card for him as well.  She plans to go visit him for a month sometime soon, as soon as we find out what her X-rays showed, and whether she will be having more surgery.  She isn't doing well at all, has a lot of trouble getting around, and her feet swell until she cannot put on her shoes.  But she is hanging in there!

I am very disappointed.  I have been taking that Cholest-Off for over two months, and had my blood tests last week.  I was so in hopes my cholesterol was lower----NOT!!!  It has gone UP instead of DOWN, and is now 358!!  My doctor has been calling and telling me (or Darrel, or leaving messages!) that I must get in there and talk to him about it.  He had the nurse leave me a message to take 40 mg. of Mevacor per night, and I do NOT want to do that!  When I take 20 mg. every other night, my shoulders hurt so that I can barely use my arms, so we need to come up with a different solution from that.  PHOOEY!! 

Okay, I really am leaving this time!

Thanks, Judy Mc!  I am sure going to work at getting some pictures good enough to share with all y'all.  Joy sent me a couple of their resort property.  If I can get them resized small enough to post here I will do that.

Janet that is not good news about the cholest-off. I too have been taking it for two months and I can't take the  Zocor as it attacks my muscles so bad. The Nurse Practicioner told me not to take it. I aven't had my blood test yet so I don't know if mine is up or down. But my eating habits haven't changed much  so I am hoping it did not go up. I have to wait until I get my insurance now to go have a blood test, I think medicare cover it but just want to make sure.

Janey you must really be excited I haven't seen you post this much in one day ever except in the games.

Marilyn - blood tersts like that are indeed covered by Medicare - I have 'em all the time.

Janet - I too am glad you're back.  Actually, I think you solved the problem of not enough posts!  I pray Beth will be well enough to go see John.

By the way - and this is vital - I got a phone call from Ruth Ann a little while ago.  She fell and broke her hip today!  She's getting it x-rayed to see if it's going to fit together without surgery.  She said to say she'll be out of here for a while.  Pray.

Yup ... I just put some photos of the property in Mexico that my daughter, son-in-law, and their partners are developing, in Photographs Here ...

By the way, I just decided to try to respond to everyone who "spoke" to me ... that's today, I'm making no promises for tomorrow.   

Oh, Al!  Thanks so much for letting us know about our Ruth Ann!  I'm so sorry to hear this.  She's been through so very much.

It's now time to lock the door and let's all pray for Ruth Ann.
