JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Janet

We just returned home from church, and Diane and Jeff had called saying they are on their way home from Denver, so Abby will be going home tomorrow.  As much as I have enjoyed having her, I'm almost ready for her to go home for a while.  Mostly because I am still feeling tired, I think.

I like Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, thin crust, please.  But I will eat most any kind!  ;)  Dr. Pepper or just water with lemon to drink, please.

Nita, what a neat lesson/'illustration you gave about your little doggie!

See you all tomorrow!

I have two different preferences for pizza.  I like just cheese and tomato sauce.  My other favourite is ham pineapple and extra cheese.  I will however eat it with just about anything on it except anchovies, and hot peppers.

Pat, that song link was realllly nice.

Marilyn, we have a test building at the airport that is routinely set aflame for training purposes.  It creates quite the scene when it is done.

Sarah, sometimes the best compliments come when you are least expecting them.  That was certainly a nice one to hear and must have really made your parents pleased with you.

I enjoy summer, but the hot humid days we have had are very draining.  I am fortunate that I was able to get the air conditioning in my car fixed the other day for a nominal fee.  At least I won't have to rely on 4-60 for my cooling needs while driving. ;D

Time to get off the computer and get some laundry done, and then some crocheting.  A baby shower gift must get done before Sunday.

Well, I hope I'm not the one to get "bonked" tonight.

Yesterday was a not well at all day, but all those hours I spent in bed must have helped. Today has been a good day and I'm feeling much, much better.

My goodness, I am afraid to begin commenting for fear I'll not remember all that I wanted to say.

Nita - loved the illustration.

Really enjoyed the discussion of spirituality. A leader in our unit was leaving a few years back and I went to him to tell him how much I'd miss him. He responded that I had brought such a sense of spirituality with me into the unit that this was his family's impetus for moving. They wanted to return to their spiritual roots and he actively sought and obtained a nice position in Chicago so they could do just that. I cried because it made me feel so humble.

Beth, I'm still praying for Beth. What difficulties she and your family have endured and how much emotional agony over this, not to mention the physical pain and suffering.

Larry - take care, please. We love you and want you to be our leader for many years.

Liz - I'm thankful you have that artistic talent to utilize. I most likely have picked up my embroidery which I enjoyed for so many years as an alternative to other activities during this recent illness. It is so satisfying to see a bit of "art" taking shape under my fingers.

Sarah, I've enjoyed the talk about pizzas. Sorry I got here too late to join the party. I've learned that if I order thin crust and get all veggies (the cheeses provide the protein), then my blood sugars stay in control.

Pat, I've spoken with my son about getting one of those bags. My son and I desperately need extra storage room for clothes.

Jane, wish I could sew some teddy bears for them - maybe that will be a hobby I'll pick up after retirement. I've wished for several years I could do that.

Nita, you know of course that I love my pets. How wonderful that God gave you that illustration to bring to us.

Etta Sue, wish I could have had "Chinese" with you. Hope Ivalou's eyes will continue to do well.

Well, my son has reminded me that if I'm to continue to heal I need my "beauty rest," so I'll check out for tonight.

I love all of you, even though I didn't mention all by name. Your posts mean SO much to me.

Ruth Ann
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
