JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

mercychild

Hello again everyone.  We've had a busy day today, but Mercy was a little angel for me.  We took the bus to the doctor's office for a checkup, and then we walked to my grandmother's house for a visit.  My hubby came to get me and we took my grandmother out for dessert, finished off some grocery shopping, and stopped in to see my parents.  We got home around ten.

Thank you for your prayers regarding my knee.  I saw the surgeon on Tuesday.  I have a scope and repair scheduled for the first of September.  They are going to repair the cartilage then, and scope out the ligament behind my knee cap (which is severed according to the M.R.I ) and see what kind of thing we're dealing with, likely reconstructive surgery.  Then, he'll schedule that for later, since they'll have to take part of my hamstring to rebuild the ligament.  I have had some pain in my knee, but it's not too bad unless I walk long distances or do anything that's high-impact.  Ruth Anne, I can completely sympathize with you regarding the knee.

Karmat - your daughter isn't much older than mine then, Mercy will be four months old on the 15th of this month.  She usually talks herself to sleep, and she HAS to be holding onto a blanket.  I'm not sure if these teeth are actually going to cut through.  Her dad had teeth by four months old.  But they are definitely bothering her.

Marilyn - I'll keep praying about you finding a place.  We live in a University city as well, so we are well acquainted with the headaches of student renters and insufficient housing for all.

Janet - I hope I can encourage you with something my mother told me.  "Don't ever get tired of the Lord testing you.  You should be thankful that He counts you worthy."  I certainly needed that reminder, and it helped me to refocus my thoughts.  Just hang in there, God will lead you through it all.

Well, I should turn in for the night.  We're going to get up early in the morning and go to the market.  God bless you all.

Jen.

Well it is late, and I am heading off to bed.  I have a BIG job to do at work tomorrow, I have to empty a wall of fabric and classify it all acording to manufacturer and Number.  It will be a real challenge, and is the last area in the store to be done for inventory.

I was paid today and went out and bought shoes.  I think I will call them "Creature Comfort"!  My feet legs and back have been really sore at the end of a work day and I came to the conclusion that my shoes were causing the problem.  The one pair I bought were priced at 60 dollars and the second pair was $10.  Imagine my surprise when both pair cost me $49 not $70!

Well I had better get some sleep, Ruth Ann Thank you for your latest email.  I will take your comments seriously.  Thank you for praying.  Melaura really enjoyed meeting you.
