Pat I think Al is still without power, as there are some parts that  still do not have power. Gilbert and Sarah live in Blue Lake and there is no poer in Blue Lake, parts of McKineyville, Arcata, Trinindad and so on. I tried to call Al but no answer he has a cordless phone and I don't know the number of his cell phone.

I have to be at Versal's before 8 AM tomorrow she has ann appointment for a CT scan of her Abdomen and upper GI. I will go to Fay's after that.

David (my grandson) told me he will be taking more photos of Tricia (his sister) and her baby tonight and send them to me tomorrow ... I'll share them with y'all.   

Jane it's good to know the Lord brought you home safely.  The TV is reporting regularly on the flooding on the west coast and the terrible fires in the southwest.  Too bad we can't just kind of tip the map so that some of that excess water flows onto the fires to put them out.   

I got all the Christmas decorations back into the storage boxes this afternoon and tomorrow I'll get everything back out in the shed.  Then I'll have the house back to normal.  Whew!   

We have had a busy couple of days.   We went to friends to celebrate New Years Eve with the intent of being home about 11:00.  Well the weather was great and the kids (Theirs and ours) went skating on their pond till 1145!  We stayed longer, as the kids were watching a good movie and as a result arrived home early!  In the morning that is.  Yesterday we had dinner with Mother and some dear friends, then a quiet evening.  The girls have been haviing a blast in the snow, I barely see them inside.  They are wanting to skate on our beaver pond, but I really don't trust that there is thick enough ice.  

This is indeed a new year.  Let us forget NYears resolutions and concentrate on our relationship with Christ and those around us.  Our families know us best.....Do they see Jesus in us? What about those relatives that we don't see often.  What can we do to show Christ in us?  Lets keep our heads bowed in humility as we walk through the days of this coming year.
