My wife and I went for a nice walk around a local reservoir and the Grand Union canal yesterday afternoon. Thought i would share a little of the scenery.

Oh this is lovely stuff, I'd love to get out there and enjoy that scenery. round here we have a place called Pennington flash, its a mile long lake formed by collapsed mine workings, and like your reservoir it is passed closely by with the Bridgewater canal, I like the scene with the wild looking water, although it does need straightening up somewhat, looks like a good windy day there, exilerating.
Yes It would be a beautiful walk there!
What a nice looking place, those little boats are adorable.
