Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

This is one of the images I captured while on a hike up Mount Owen one morning in September.  Mount Owen is a 13,000+ foot peak in the ruby range west of Crested Butte, Colorado.  I set out about 5:30 in the morning, when the sun was just beginning to rise and cast this awesome light on the peaks.  I knew then why they call it the "Ruby Range".  The light from the rising or setting sun intensifies the color of the rocks/minerals in the peaks.  I didn't see anyone else out here that morning, except when I was hiking back.  It was such a peaceful time in the Lord to reflect on Him and His beauty.

What a glorious greeting and time for reflection... Beautiful...
God's Word is truth, You can trust and believe what he says more than any human word!!!--"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble,I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Lovely.  Good timing for capturing that light/shadow effect.

The light has brought out the wonderful bronzed colours of the mountainsides and their textures here. You know it wouldn't hurt to have captured a telephoto shot of the crags themselves as well as this lovely scene.

When I first saw the picture, I immediately liked it solely for the one reason that you have captured the ruggedness of the place.

That early morning light is just fantastic and the road leading into the mountains is excellent. I always love the felling when you get up early in the morning to go out photographing don't you.

Well done,
Tim
Mark 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
