Title: A Stop in Time.
Post by: HolyGhosted on October 10, 2008, 12:27:33 PM
My Daughter and I went for a little hike yesterday day and I took this photo. I was wondering if I could get your opinion on it. I have some mixed feeling and was just wondering if any one else would come up to the same things I do.

Thanks for looking and enjoy.

first off, i like it in black and white. the sky doesn't have much cloud formation anyway, it gives the photo a more "moody" feel. I'm a bit distracted by the branch on the upper right side of the photo, though. maybe you can take the photo again from a different angle where the length of the bridge or the reflection of the trees would be more visible on the water. still, overall, it's a good photo. :) thanks for sharing.

My opinion, absolutely excellent, I like the delicate structure of the bridge is silhouetted against the sky, the left hand tree fills the sky area nicely, and at the other end of the picture is a much smaller tree that balances up the much larger one on the left. Lets put it this way, I wish I'd taken it, WISH I picture.

I too like it in the Black and White, the tree does seem a bit too much.

I personally love the picture exactly the way it is. The trees are not too distracting for me, I think they add a bit of realism to the moody feeling of the picture.
