In Valetta on the Island of Malta, I was poking around the backstreets, when I came across these steps descending down to the little square where I was standing, I would have been happy with a shot of the steps and the charming facades until I noticed the postman begin his descent, all I had to do was wait for him to arrive at the right position and shoot. I don't think the mood would have been right if like our postmen, he had been wearing a uniform. Somehow the Postman Pat image just doesn't fit in with this scene.

Doesn't quite cut it does he?

HAHAHA! No, he doesn't quite do the job. I definitely like the first one best.
Postman Pat, Postman Pat
Postman Pat and his black and white cat!
Memories...You seem to bring them to the surface in nearly every post!
No Pat doesn't fit... Great picture though
There is another version, it goes.
Postman Prat, Postman Prat,
Postman Prat, ran over his cat,
Early in the morning,
Postman Prat was crying,
Blood and guts went flying,
Have you ever seen a cat as flat as that.
Ohhh Michael that is not a nice fun version!
My kids used to love that cartoon, and it was a clean safe one for them to watch!
I still like your picture though!
