Rainbow during cruise to Alaska Hubbard Bay. This was only one of God's magnificant displays of His creation.
Its a nice rainbow shot is that particularly when the end is emanating from the island, cool colours too, no brilliant tones just ice land water and the bow, aparantly a rainbow does not have an end or beginning, one was photographed from the air, and it showed its full circle. in relation to the rainbow covenant God gave to Noah, there is no beginning or end of God's love for His creation.
Really, really good ballance in this one!
Thanks for your compents. I shot that scene with my Sony A-100 at ISO 100, 120mm on my zoom lens, f/6.3 and used a polarizing lens.
I was lucky to get the shot. I was working on the cruise and saw the rainbow with an inverted rainbow with it. I had to go down 7 decks to get my camera and run back up, but by the time I got back the double rainbow was gone. At any rate this was one of the best shots on the trip.
Any comments on the other picture I posted?
Thanks
Earl
