Title: Autumn Bridge
Post by: shutterbugmom on October 27, 2009, 10:18:21 PM
Some of what I shot while "hunting" for Idaho fall foliage last Saturday. (last day of hunting season, too. LOL)  Some softening was added for the dreamy look.

A pretty scene.   :)  Our foliage is all on the ground now and the trees are bare.

I'd say feathery, that's how the trees look, there are some quite lovely tones here, the silvery white of the bridge is the perfect foil to the delicate yellows of the autumn foliage everything leads the eye into the picture, the two trees in shadow help to frame the scene and contain the eye, well you knew that all along, now that's a picture that should sell well, Michael.

I love what you do with your photography Kathleen.  As with Jeanne all our foliage is gone.  Winter will be here too soon.

Lovely image, nice color and I like the way you have "softened" the image.

That is nice Kathleen!!! I like using the soft mode on the D40- it creates the same  effect...Though alot of other photographers would say its to soft! I love it though.... :)
