The Tour Train
[attachimg=#]
Six years ago, I finally fulfilled my dream to take the train ride to Agawa Canyon,
which is probably the most breath-taking place in Canada to enjoy the colors of the Fall. It was like going inside an oil painting which you see in art galleries.
I was shooting film at the time and was economizing on the shots.
I could have shot hundred frames if I had a digital camera. Darn!!
But anyway, here are a few of the scanned photos of the tour.

Here is the summary of the colorful journey.
I hope you enjoy the tour. Thanks for all the nice comments.
That must have been late September. All our leaves are about gone now, just some aspen and oak left.
Your pictures are beautiful. John has taken bus tours on the train trip many times, but even living so close I have never. Thank you for the tour!
That was actually about the same time this year, around mid-October. I caught the last tour of the season. It was kind of cloudy but the leaves were so colourful and bright to illuminate the day.
I went to Sault Sainte Marie, mainly to shoot a wedding but I planned to get there at least a day earlier just to catch the tour and I am glad I did.
I am glad you liked the shots. Thanks, Judy.
Mario, thank you so much for taking us on that tour with you! Wonderful scenery and amazing colors. :D
I rode the algoma central back in the 70's when I was in college. I went up to the end of the line in Hearst Ontario, stayed overnight and came back. BTW I hitchhiked up to the soo from east lansing where I was in college at the time. I shot a lot of slide film with my old Pentax spotmatic II. It was during our fall break so I missed the colors :^(

The poster design is very nice. I was wondering what program you used to do the layout?
Wow! that is some journey! Too bad you missed the colors.
Thanks for the nice comment on the poster. I used Photoshop
in designing it.
