Never been to Barnolswick to look around before, thought I would today, and managed to potter round the square look at a few shops, then had the best meat pie I've ever tasted, beautiful, here are some shots I snapped whilst there, quaint place isn't it? And yet Barnolswick is famous for its factory there, they turn out Rolls Royce, jet engines, didn't get down to see the plant, as I'm not too mobile yet but someday I will.

Nice shot. Is that your "vehicle" parked there?
Lovely place. Well done! I like seeing through your eyes.
I enjoy them also Summicron.
Now I would really love to see that Rolls Royce plant, maybe you could get a tour through the plant and shoot some photos for us. :)
Don
Don the problem might be security, He may not be allowed to take pictures,
I have enjoyed the tour, Well done Michael. We hare at CP care.
I think you are probably right Judy but maybe Summicron knows someone inside.
Don
Quite definately not mine, but the way my poor feet feel, its getting close to needing one. No I don't know anybody in RR, but the plant is an old weaving shed, perhaps the pigeons on the town square are test pigeons, for the wind tunnel. There's an engine on display at the gates.
Well if you get by the gate and its allowed I'd love to see the engine.
Don
Yea That would be neat!
They don't have security on the gate, they just have this working jet engine.
Maybe the next trip?
