Here are some pictures taken last weekend at the Ladies' Retreat I attended. The grounds there are really nice, and in summer there are many activities available: canoeing, swimming (they have a pool) hiking, horseback riding, horseshoes, volleyball, etc. But these will give you an idea how it looks there in early Spring. This is about 2 hours from where I live.

Janet, that's a gorgeous place.
Did you climb the hill?
Any nice views from the top?
Yes I did, and yes there are! ;) There are stepping stones along the path going up, with names of people who have passed on. Their family members put those there in memory of their loved ones.
Etta Sue----SEE!!! Kansas is not all flat! ;D
I know, Janet...but flatter than most states!!!!
Awesome pictures...you guys make me want a new camera~!
Great place Janet.
Lovely spot. Did you sit on that big rock? I love the colors....
No, Liz. It is huge! And I was out of time by the time I got up there, so I didn't go around back of it to see if there was a way to get up on it. Maybe next time! ;D
Janet, those photos are going to ruin our image of Kansas as being pretty flat. Very nice photos.
