Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I was blessed to be able to go back out to Idaho and Montana this summer.  I worked in the Panhandle of Idaho in 1971 and 1972 for the U.S. Forest Service as a temporary employee.  I had my degree in Forestry and wanted a full time permanent position, but there was a hiring freeze.  I made my first tip back to that beautiful country in northern ID and western MT in 2007, and I went back again this year.

These pictures are along the trail to Copper Lake and at Copper Lake.  The stream is Copper Creek, which is the overflow from Copper Lake.  The snow should NOT have been there at the end of June, like it was, because the elevation was only between 4500 and 5000 feet.  There was much more snow over the winter and a much later spring than normal, so that's why I was fortunate enough to see so much snow.  At times I was walking on top of two feet or more of hard packed snow!

Copper Lake is right on the border between Idaho and Montana.  The ridge crest behind the lake is where the border runs, so the back side of the ridge is part of Idaho.

I had to bow my head, raise my hand over my head in praise, and give God thanks for allowing me to be in that beautiful place when I got to the lake.  It was nothing short of a spiritual experience.
