I was looking through some old digital images and found some of a trip to Dorset, Ontario of the Oxtongue River. There are many rapids and falls on this river near to Algonquin Falls.
These photos were taken in 2000 with my first digital camera--a Nikon Coolpix 950

Those are really nice, Pat. What was that about 1.5MP?
Yep. Camera was set at highest level (FINE) and the pictures are all 1600 x 1200 pixels! LOL
But what a wonderful macro camera!
These are wonderful, Pat. :) I'd love to go there to shoot those falls and rapids!
Yes, I'd like to go back now too and take my Nikon D80! ;)
Pat there were lots of memories with those trips. I am glad you are posting the pictures.
These are beautiful.
Beautiful scenery, Pat. Was that the camera you held together with duct tape? :D
Hey, Jeanne!
What a memory! Yep! this camera had a terrible weakness in the clasp that held the battery in and we had to use duct tape to keep that compartment closed! HAHAHA!
Still duct tape on it and have to replace it every so often when the "sticky" doesn't work anymore!
I remember you having to baby that one along for a long time until you could upgrade. :)
