Hi everyone,
Thought I would jump right in and post my first image. It's one of my captures of some mountains near Aspen, Colorado: the Maroon Bells. One truly has to see this place in person to take in how stunningly gorgeous it is. These are 14,000 + foot peaks that tower over and reflect beautifully in a lake. It's always crowded with photographers shoulder to shoulder, and for good reason. This was taken in late September of 2007. I would like to go back and photograph it during the other 3 seasons. I apologize for not posting my camera settings. I lost all my EXIF info from many of my images after converting them into TIFF files and discarding the original JPEGS. Now I know better! lol.
The day couldn't have been more perfect. The sky was blue, there was a bit of snow on the peaks, the colors were changing and the lake was still for that perfect reflection. God is Good!!

Oh, what a wonderful scene! And I think that your text on the image is just perfect!
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much, guys! I just absolutely love getting up into the mountains. It's often easier to feel the peace of God while surrounded with beauty like this. When I was here, I had my sister and her fiance' with me and we all just stood there and marveled. Even with the crowds...there were a lot of people here....I felt so relaxed. My sister's fiance' was praising God.
