Hi there, just bought our airline tickets and booked a rental house in Lahaina Hawaii for the end of November and first week of December.  This will our first real vacation since my wife and I got married on 9/9/99.  So I'm just curious if anyone out there has any advice?  I have never been to Maui before......any tips, any non tourist spots?.....Thanks in advance!

Hello I love photography although I am not a pro I still love it and I take pictures of the strangest things.  I love pictures of bugs, dead flowers, mushrooms etc.  God has a purpose for everything even mushrooms. I went to the lake a few weeks back with my husband and son they went fishing I went what my son calls shooting.  lol  well I took some of the most amazing and blessed pictures the Lord has ever let me see or so I think so.  Here is one and I have one of an amazing mushroom I will post as soon as I find it.  This picture I am about to post means a lot to me because just as I took the picture my son starting praying and thanking the Lord for a wonderful evening and family, Oh the Lord has his hand on my son I just know it.  Not like I'm his momma or anything.

Oh and heading to Hawaii have a blessed and save trip and remember everyone NO STOW AWAYS !!!!

Goldenstarphoto, your two photos are beautiful!  I love the second one.  I can imagine seeing it large on a wall in my home!
