Hi everyone,
here are a few more images of some of the interesting places we have been on our travels. The Mt Whaleback open cut mine is absolutely amazing. It is in an area of Western Australia known as The Pilbara, which is about the size of Spain and is nearly all iron ore(as well as many other minerals). Perth is the state capital and is a beautiful city. An interesting fact is that it is one of the world's most remote capital city. Fremantle is historically the main port that services Perth. For most European immigrants from the very earliest times of settlement, Fremantle was their first experience of Australia. Hope you enjoy the shots.
God bless,
Rob :)
