Wonderful, Iain! Wow! You live in the most wonderful place! How I love the sea.
That's one of the things I miss most about living in Northern Ireland. We used to walk along the shore most evenings.
Wow, Iain, are those just straight shots? They are beautiful!
Iain, beautiful sunrise photos. Thanks for sharing.

Iain, how was the tide? Was it low or mid? I see a bird on the water.
Oh, my! I could just sit and look at these for a long time.
WOW
Iain: Oh, how I miss salt water. None in Colorado. Thank you for your inspirational pictures. Carol
Iain, incredible pictures. What a canvas God painted for you this morning. Thanks for sharing.
These are so beautiful! I wish I had been there in the flesh, but your photos are the next best thing. I'm glad someone encouraged you to get up early and get some sunrise shots. Thanks!
Pat I enjoyed the devotional by Jack. He certainly had boldness teaching others about the Lord! Also enjoyed the sunrise pictures that Iain arose so early to catch on film.
We had such a busy hard day at the hospital. Our patient load is so great with no expansion of space any time soon. So many of our patients complain of the long wait and I can't blame them - I would be unhappy about that too.
Our 6 guests are to arrive tomorrow at noon. We plan to picnic at the lake in the afternoon (since I found someone willing to work for me, I took the day off). On Saturday, our youngest daughter plans to wed in Gatlinburg and wants us to be there. Then, Tuesday week, my granddaughter and I leave for Rome. Stress? Yeah! :o
Iain - wonderful sunrise photos....thanks for sharing!
Oh my! Is it really that beautiful there in the morning? I think I would get up every morning to see it. The colors are amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Many thanks indeed for your kind comments folks, I really appreciate them all.
What you see is what you get, there are no enhancements and no computer tricks. People often ask me if I use filters, well I don't as they simply are not needed over here.
I'll send a pic to Pat shortly to demonstate what I mean. You will see the different colours in the water. I can go to any beach on the Island and get different photos each day!
These mornings though are few and far between. There would have been nobody near any beach today as it is cold and pouring down. This is the norm for here!
Thanks again.
The photos with the rising sun and its reflection look almost like a lighted candle. Oh, how I wish I lived closer to the ocean! I guess out here in Kansas is almost as far away form it as you can get! :-\ :( :'(
What a wonderful series of sunrise photos. Simply gorgeous. Iain, you captured God beauty perfectly. I do want to thank you for sharing these with us.
Posting for Iain...Here are the two photos that Iain mentioned above that show the many colours in the water.

Woah!! I love that second one--would make a lovely painting!!
Ok I wouldn't mind going there on vacation. Looks like no one knows it's there. What lovely photos. Can you swim in that water?
Yea Sonja, it's a good safe beach, fine for swimming and very popular on warm summer days. (A rarity in these parts)
Most of our beaches are empty at this time of year, mainly bacause of the cold. The water is freezing and there always seems to be a bitter wind blowing, but its great for photographers!!
See what I mean about the colours in the sea? There is no way that you could do that in PSP or any other package without making a hash of the photo.
The Lord's canvas is far nicer I think. BTW I used to do B & W myself and I especially liked your 3rd B&W photo. I think B&W photos capture children better as they grow.
Iain, what kind of camera are you using?
I use a Nikon Coolpix 950. Obsolete now but a fantastic one for macro which I love.
It's a Pentax 430sr but I am praying for a Minolta 7Hi which will meet all my needs on the Islands.
Many folk, both here and abroad want a good photograph of their village or their grandparents village, but the Pentax cannot handle that detail.
I may take 50 shots Pat, but perhaps only one will end up on the site! I love it! God is good.
Iain: your photographs are amazing. What a wonderful place to live and make beautiful pictures.
Iain, I have called in here today for another browse and once again your pictures give me much joy.
Thank-you for sharing your gifts with us on C.P. I do thank God for You brother.
I truly feel as if I am walking along the beach with you this morning, these pictures are so amazing.
Jenny
How beautiful, Iain! Amazing the variety of colors - wouldn't that make a great jigsaw? (Hint, hint, Pat)
Iain - those shots of the beach are truly breathtaking!
Thank you so much for posting!
Iain, you make me just want to be there! Thanks for graciously placing these here!
Many thanks folks, it's making me long for brighter weather.
Great Pictures Iain
Regards
Ken
These truly were great photos. I just pray that Iain's health will improve so that he can come back and share with all of us.
Hi Ken!
Lovely sunsets, if you squint very hard the sun and its light track look like an atomic blast just as the mushroom cloud is beginning to take shape.
