taken from Headlands Beach...The clouds were moving over the sun and the waves were nice, heavy breeze warm, it was beautiful...My 1st shots taken at this beach and I was just excited...I keep calling it an ocean....That's Lake Erie from this point of view!

Those are beautiful, Juanita. Somehow I don't usually think of a lake in those terms. :D
The clouds in the first one are beautiful I love water and these shota are well done.
The great lakes are as big and in some cases bigger than some bodies of water that are called seas or oceans. The difference is the great lakes don't have tides. They are not controlled by the moon like the oceans and seas are.
thank you Jeanne and Judy...I think I look at the lake as big and an unseeing end on the horizon, like an ocean. I get a thrill when we go there-"I have to get a shot of that lake either when we get there or leave"...
