A scene near my house. I just loved the light and serenity of that afternoon!
I love this too! I feel as if I'm moving into this scene...from the reflection of the fence posts in the water, on across the colorful fields to the mountains, clouds and sky beyond! Really a great shot.
Nice compositional elements to make this scene flow nicely.
I would toss my lure on each fencepost reflection, then vary the speed on each retrieve until the big, fat trout exploded...oh, I'm back from dreamland now...very effectively pulled me into the scene...and a lovely one it is!
Gripped,
Kevin

A fly rod with a nice dry fly layed deftly on the water would bring a big, fat rainbow crashing to the surface. ;)
Nice, I love that horizon.
Thanks, all! It's good to know I stirred up some emotion. A good sign for a photograph!
I love the "peaceful easy feeling" of this photograph. (somebody should write a song with that title. ) Oh they already have
Great photo
Kathleen, that's a lovely image of a wonderful scene.
I think my hubby would have agreed with Carl and Kevin about the flies and the old rod!
