Title: Philippines in the Eyes of My Camera
Post by: 3739 on June 16, 2009, 08:57:24 AM

Hello this is my first post. Hope you'll come to like my pictures and my country. Aside from photography, I have a healthy hobby with mountain biking which is I am trying to integrate all of it. The mountain bike takes me to my subjects, while my camera record how God creates all things, then I go to the later part which is the rhema.

Baler, Aurora Province

All I can say is WOW!

I love the third one, the sun looks like the flame of a candle!

They are all so well taken!

Can we know your first name?

Hello Judy,

Here is another trip I've been to.

Polilio Island

I took this photo before going down from the mountains.

Above is a very small island. Can be circled around in less than 10 minutes. There were no inhabitants, no cottages whatsoever. On the East side of this island is facing the Pacific Ocean.

This is another island but inhabited by many local fisherman.

The little boat you see above is what we call as "Bangka". It is widely used for fishing.

In the Philippines, you will rarely see 'minimalist' looking buildings and houses. Mostly it is influenced by Spanish designs which is true because we were heavily influenced by Spaniards during their rule for about half a millennium.

Btw, Polilio is also on the East side of the country. I wasn't able to take pictures of the sunrise, it would have been awesome too since Baler is also on the east side.

Hope you enjoyed this part 2. :)

Gee! Thanks Judy.

I haven't been outside lately. No time to go out riding and shooting. School was just starting so I am expecting some busy days.
