Title: Pink Power
Post by: shutterbugmom on November 17, 2008, 01:21:54 PM
I took this last night at the Wildlife Refuge/Lake Lowell.  Same place as the other two images I posted recently.  I am amazed at all the differences in the color of light during the time I was there.  I don't use color filters, either, nor did I add any in post processing.  This is what it actually looked like.

WOW   What a beautiful scene.  I can imagine just sitting and absorbing the atmosphere.  Really beautiful.

You have been out, does that mean you are feeling better?  I pray so.

Thank you, Judy, for your nice comments.  We spoke to some people there and they said that it was more beautiful the night before, although I cannot imagine it.

I think I am maybe slightly better, but I couldn't walk far or anything last night without real trouble breathing and coughing.  We mostly drove around the perimeter of the Wildlife Refuge, part way, looking for the 15,000 geese that are supposed to be there right now.  We didn't make it far enough around the place to find them before dark so we will go back again.  The water level is higher than expected, so they must've moved to other mud flats on the reserve.  Anyway, I just shot from the shore by the parking area until I got too tired and got back in the car.  Thanks for asking how I'm feeling.
