Picnics on the lawn, children young and old, having fun on the grassy play areas at Pennington Flash, what a colourful play frame, the flash can be seen in the background. This is a gem of a place, thought I'd make a record of some of the activities there and the scenery, must go back sometime. You know I can't find the meaning of the word flash pertaining to these lakes. There are quite a number of them between Wigan and Leigh, Pennington being the biggest.

Looks like the families are having a lot of fun.  i enjoy watching children play....do you?

It's especially nice in this context, when there are lots of lovely pastel colours dotted up and down, not far off the Garden of Eden I'd say.
